Woman sues Google after being hit by a car while using walking directions

That site about the Mcdonalds case is guess what- LAWYER FRIENDLY!!!

There ought to be a bounty on lawyers- Shakespear was right about them.

50 years a go the judge throws that case right out and tells the lawyer never to come to his courtroom again.

If you do not show common sense you should not get a cent ever.

anyone trying to take a cap off a cup of HOT coffee while its between their legs deserve whatever they get.

99% are a bunch of bloodsucking greedy scumbags.

I remember one time my dad was getting one of thos piggyback forklifts you see on the back of 18 wheelers delivered. A friend of his brought some dumb *** over and we were all trying to figure out how to get it unloaded. We backed another flatbed up to the truck and were going to back the forklift onto it and wait for a crane to take it off the next day. The idiot takes it upon himself to jump up on the forklift and then drives the the the thing off, clipping the 18 wheeler driver with his blades (he was ok). The dumb *** who got on it tried to sue us because he hurt his back when he fell off with it - and a lawyer took his case.

It didn't go to jury. As far as I can tell, they've only filed the lawsuit. The judge could throw it out, but it takes time for that to happen.

Hopefully the judge tosses it and gives her and her lawyer stiff fines for such a frivolous suit.

I'm defending a case right now which IMO is much worse than this fact scenario...

Unfortunately there are those types of lawyers out there. They have no scruples and most of the time have nothing to lose.

But in my experience those types are the exception rather than the rule. You can find that in any profession.

Reminds me of the time Michael Scott drove into the lake because his GPS told him to.

Yes it does, you would think at some point common sense has to kick in.

Heh you would think, but remember the first rule to prevent failure is to NEVER ASSUME!

I put a high emphasis on quality.
