Ever notice the number of holding calls increased in Dallas as soon as the narrative around Dak using his legs started to take hold? We get flagged half the time he breaks the pocket? The other teams don’t get flagged at all.

Jerry confirmed yesterday that refs have full discretion on when they want to call that holding. If they decide there is no way Parsons could have made a play there, then refs won’t flag this as holding. Further proof that they use holding calls as an instrument to shape outcomes. The owners are all in on it.

I don't know about you guys but if I have to watch Micah being held so blatantly I'm about ready to stop watching football.

The officiating is so inconsistent it is taking arguably our most impactful player and completely neutering him by letting him be held on every play.

Conversely on the other side of the ball if Tyler Smith grabs anybody in the center of their chest for a half a second and let's go he's called for holding while we continue to have to watch Micah in a chokehold for half the game.
It's bad enough we have stupid players that commit stupid legitimate penalties and it can't be gotten under control by our coach.

But watching our generational talent most impactful player be neutered by inconsistent officiating or flat out prejudice against our team is becoming more than I can bear.

Jerry needs to take all the facts and the tape to the league office and get this straightened out because there is no way we can ever win a championship with things being officiated this way and I'm not crying and whining about the officiating I'm just stating facts.

Yeah, it'll never happen. The NFL is driven more and more by casual fans. Look at it's popularity now because of T. Swizzle? Casual fans are not going to boycott because they don't care like the hardcore fans.

The Chiefs have Chris Jones. They've drawn 10 holding calls.
The Niners have Nick Bosa. They've drawn 11 holding calls.
The Cowboys have Micah. They've drawn 13 holding calls.
The Browns have Miles Garrett. They've drawn 14 holding calls.

Elite rushers are not getting calls, for whatever reason. They all think they're being held and they're right.

PlI watch a lot more games than just the Cowboys. I'm a big NFL fan but these refs are ruining the game. There are too many calls and they also throw too many flags and than discuss and decide no penalty. The officiating to me is at an all time low when the refs are controlling the game.

I'm 100% with you my friends and I have watched football together since we were kids we still get together and watch games and we all feel the same about it to the point we are all about two steps from just boycotting the whole thing.

At our age no matter what the outcome or who wins you can always enjoy a quality product the officiating is degrading the product to the point where it is becoming truly unwatchable for us as we have watched so much football we know the difference.

This football is designed for the casual fan who accepts the officiating because they don't know any different and haven't seen any different not serious fans that have watched a lifetime of football.

Fans who think this had no impact are brain-dead fans. OBJ got caught doing booger sugar on TMZ and nothing happened - Zeke falsely accused having to go to court on a weekly basis. Then no holding penalties for 10 games - now this. My s/o has gotten into football just this year. Her first comment last week was the MP penalty changed the course of the game. Even new fans are starting to see the blatant officiating woes and it’s terrible for the NFL

We just need the kids of the scriptwriters of the early 90s to grow up and continue the trade of their parents. Although with the explosion of technology, it's likely that they've decided on other careers. Let's hope they flame out and return to what their parents showed them.

Only 8 teams have had more penalties called on their opponents than the Cowboys. Funny how the "screwed by the NFL" talk never takes into account how many times Dallas benefits from a flag - only 8 teams have benefitted more this season. Imagine how screwed those other teams feel.

Then again, that wouldn't fit the narrative that makes for a convenient excuse when things don't go our way.

I'm all about it real video game tape isolate Micah and the guys blocking him.

I wish I was computer-savvy enough to do that whole thing I would make it happen and watch it intently even though it was very painful to watch the first time in live action but it would be worth it because this lack of consistency with the officiating is ruining the game for me and many of my old time buddies that come over and watch the game up in my man cave.
We cook steaks watch the games and really used to enjoy it but as of late this officiating is ruining the product for us.

After 50 years of playing and watching football it's just becoming a lot to have to stomach.

We talked about joining an ax throwing league on Sundays to take the place of watching the games we're about two steps from doing that.
