Rick James says ya'll are "Super-geeks."
Seriously though, what is this game? Sounds kinda fun....is it an MMORPG?
jterrell said:I cant say versus Guild wars but it any MMO is worth the money if you play it.
2 hours a day is 14 per week, 50 or so per month for 15 buck(and thats a casual player). Thats basically 1 movie, 1 soda, 1 hot dog-3 hours.
The game can be found at Fry's and other places for 40 bucks. You get 1 free month with purchase and a secondary 10 day free trial for someone else.
It is for supergeeks and helps if you can program macros, but is certainly worth the money unless you wouldnt pay much and are on a shoestring budget.
It is about the cheapest entertainment you can get if you can afford the pc requirements.
The game itself is intensely fun as 2 sides are warring and on my server it is all pvp all the time. Pretty intense and lots of fun. A lot of doom like elements added to a MMORPG. It is also alot more fun if you play with friends.
If anyone wants to play PM me or just sign up on the BloodScalp server and send Jazander a tell/whisper. I can hook you guys up with gear, a guld tag and some help doing quests.

Be careful with Guild Wars if price is your thing because Guild Wars is gonna release small patches and each will cost more money.AmarilloCowboyFan said:Thanks for the info jterrell.
I am going to pick up Guild Wars after finals are over next week and try it. Then I'm gonna get WoW a couple weeks after that. Have you tried Star Wars: KOTOR?
Priests get real fun as you get into your talents. I hated hearthing back to train in the teens and 20's because my spells were so generic, but that changes a lot at 30 and with the talent points.Ashwynn said:I play Alliance side on Azgalor. So far have my hunter up to 57 - though I am quickly becoming less enchanted with my hunter. started a priest and a rogue, like the priest better so far.

Playing on a pvp server while occasionally annoying, makes the game have a constant excitement. Any time you get bored grinding out exp or quests you can find a good fight in a number of different zones.

If I didnt work so much I'd be 60.
Our little guild is looking at collapsing into Revenant a hardcore PVP-centric guild.
Most hate rogues but I love those guys. Half my CP are from rogues. I dot them then they are pretty much hosed. I use engineering and steal detection to root them out.
60 stun lock rogues with epic gear are of course gonna kill anyone with less than 5k hps, but for the most part all classes have good and bad matchups. I run with a mage and Warr so we have great balance for pvp/pve.
I actually played EQ with two WoW designers. Tigole and Ariel. They lead the uber guild on my EQ server and I raided with Tigole's guild a few times. Ariel had left for Blizzard by then.
