Morris got ran over by a top 5 back in the league and he's a slim corner back... it's not as big of a deal, plus that call on him was blown out of proportion and should of been a no call.

Way too early.

I shutter at the thought of Newman,Sensabaugh,Jenkins, and McCray in the defensive backfield.

Charles has a slight build for a RB Claiborne should not be getting trucked the way he did, you've got to square up, get low, and go through the ball carrier..not wait for them to deliver the blow. But these guys obviously don't practice how to tackle.

Claiborne is reminds me more and more like Jenkins with each and every game, Escobar is too soon to call, clearly not strong enough to play in this league...bu with so many issues on the offensive and defensive lines, why another second round tight end...

Key word there is "another." But hey Witten is no spring chicken.

You can't really expect much from a 2nd TE when there are bigger receiving threats at WR and TE.

That's why Dallas shouldn't have bothered drafting him. Furthermore, they followed that up by picking Williams who I like (for a reason I can't quite pinpoint) but any time Williams is on the field, Gavin won't be and vice versa. There may be a couple plays where Dez or Austin get a breather but generally speaking, they take each other off the field.

Didn't romo have some input on those picks. Word on the street was they had him watch tape and give input on those two guys and he loved them.

Claiborne has been a starting CB from Day 1. Who should have been the pick if we stayed at 14?

i guess this would be a good time to tell my story about a time i got into a tussle with him in a club down here but that's probably more appropriate for the coli lol. like you said he's not big.

Claiborne will always be a horrific pick to me. Using a top 10 pick and your 2nd rounder on a cornerback after spending 50 million on Brandon Carr was an alarmingly bad decision. It severely set the team back.

It's like they said..."you thought spending all that money on Carr was bad, well watch this."

It's too early, but I like both picks so far.

I happen to like both players. Mo is not a quitter at all even had shoulder and all he still tried to take on that hit. If the guy busts out it isn't because he is a bum who quits. But he flashes and for that I don't think he is a bust. Also lets be honest he was playing the ball on that call it should've been a no call and it shows what kind of player he can be.

Escobar waaaay to early to even mention Bust he is working himself on to the field and has made a couple of plays. To be honest I like him more then Hanna and he has some good upside. Once he gets his blocking technic down and gets more confidence this kid can be good..

Speaking of Williams I was happy to see him bounce back today he didn't use his body and I think he is getting more confident as the season goes on.

I think when posts like these are created, we should be free to personally mock the original poster.

How many more plays does Carr have to make to shut you up. He's been a very good player for us.

I hate for this thread to go to waste, lets all rip on the Billy Cannon Jr and Robert Shaw draft picks.

Carr has been worth the money as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah well I'd rather have scouts and the creator of the system make the picks.

What QB is ever going to say, "Yeah, I have enough weapons". Hell, Manning vouched for Welker.

It's too early in any of these guys careers to make an assessment.
