If I can't trade down...I take Slater. Who knows if the back issue thing is legit...I'm sure the Cowboys would.

Hope someone like NE wants to move up for Lance, if not I am drafting Parsons.

He has the most upside on the defensive side of the ball after the CBs.

I run to the podium to hand in the card for Pitts. This is best case, not worst case.

This is what scares me. I am hearing that Carolina could be looking at CBs since their secondary was one of the worst in league last year according some of the experts. Now that they have their QB it they could go that way which would really throw a wrench in our plans.

Slater or trade with a team that covets Trey Lance. The OL is the engine that makes the offense go.

Slater for sure. The back stuff came back fine, after all.

If we don't like him, try to trade to 15-20 and go Moehrig

If it falls this way (unlikely since Denver just traded for Bridgewater, so they probably don't move up to 4)...Pitts is the pick. Dallas wouldn't even use a quarter of their alotted time before handing in that pick.

Edit: just saw the correction post.

I’d want to take DeVonte Smith because 1, he’s a fantastic player and 2, I’d want to watch Timb2 freak out and jump off the ledge.

I would love to take Smith too. That guy just gets open. I don't think the NFL level players are going to change that either. The only negative is his size, but in his case I don't think it will hurt him. But to take Smith I would have to be willing to get rid of one of my receivers and that would probably be Gallup. The only problem with this is that would leave the Cowboys with 3 WRs on the field who are not exactly physical.

Yeah, he’d be Gallup’s replacement.

Really I was half kidding just messing with Timb2. However, I do think Smith is going to be really, really good and I don’t think his size will hurt him at all. He does everything very well and he absolutely slaughtered the highest level of college ball at that size.

If you're telling me I can choose between Pitts and Slater I'd argue this is closer to best case scenario than worst case scenario. Have heard no legitimate concerns around health issues for Slater.

He forgot to put in Pitts. He said take out Waddle and put Pitts in Miami.
