Worst NFL Owner?

Any way you slice it. Jerry Jones the owner, and Jerry Jones the GM, has 3 Superbowl rings.

He doesn't even compare with some of the worst owners.

Yes, he does. His ego ruined the dynasty that was created under Jimmy and his team hasn't come close to sniffing a championship since then directly because of him. He directly inhibits his team from winning because he thinks he needs to be part of the decision making.

What about Dan Snyder, lets sign Albert Hainsworth, lets hire Mike Shanahan and get Donovan McNabb, all of those things which have been failures, just like the Commanders have been for many of years now lol :laugh2:

I think Snyder deserves to be at the top of this list, however, I don't think he's the one lobbying for these players.

Haynesworth was a Vinny signing, and Mcnabb was brought in by Shanahan.

If there's one thing skins fans are happy about, it's that they have football people in place to make decisions.

The Mcnabb move was a failure, but it's not like Snyder is telling Shanny who he can/cannot sign. If that were the case Shanny wouldn't stick around.

That being said, Dan needs this to be successful. He's walking on thin ice with Commanders fans. He got rid of Vinny which bought him some time, but if this next move of shanahan/Bruce Allen doesn't work out, I could see the next move being a change in ownership.

He must've gotten some lifts, or hemorrhoids. Either one would increase his height.

Regardless of whether or not this is accurate. There are GM's who have won nothing in the same time span, and had far worse seasons in that time span. This post is about the *worst* GM. Not whether or not Jerry is a good one. I'll take 3 Super Bowls and years of **** over just years of ****.

It is actually worst owner, but sure. When an owner knows he is the problem and refuses to get out of the way he is a bad owner. He may not be the worst but he belongs in the discussion.

Bill Bidwell is the correct answer.
I thought this was common knowledge - at least it used to be. The Cardinals have sucked in every city they've been in. Perhaps the onslaught of competition for the title has blurred the lines, but Bidwell has always had this title locked...

Whoever owns Jacksonville.
I don't now cas. They've had some poor attendence lately but still well ahead of several (as in 7 or 8) other teams and they have a smaller market than many of those clubs (like Oakland).

Their teams are not contenders but are generally in the middle of the pack or so. They advanced in the playoffs just 3 years ago.
I'd give them a pass, but I see your point.

Leaving GM out, I agree, as an owner, Jerry is fine.

He is not afraid of change, not afraid to pay (and does pay), has had teams win multiple Super Bowls, and even when down, his team is at the top in attendance.
These are all things people look for in good ownership.

Now as GM? That's another topic.

Agreed! IMO Snyder.. He's been trying to buy a championship for a long while now and isn't retaining the coaching staff. Also, he seems to be more of a fan than an owner. Being buddy buddy with the players wont get you anywhere. They will love you as an owner, but when you develop relationships that you cannot (or have a hard time) part with, your team just becomes stagnant.
