The NFL better hope the Star saves them again next regular season. Can the TV contacts be lowered, or are the dollars set in stone until the next contract?

After the way the NFL has treated the Cowboys during these last two playoffs runs, Jerry should start Kellen Moore and Alfred Morris during their prime time games next year. Why should the Cowboys bail out a league that doesn't want them in their post season?

Blimey!!!
What a bunch of mean girls!
Instead of exulting for the playoffs and thanking the stars for OUR prospects next year, you choose to demean the victors.
My disappointment in you is expansive, mates.

The NFL is just becoming another sports league, at one time it was the best league going...not anymore, they got too greedy...should have stuck to Sunday and Monday. These playoffs have been horrible as far competition, am very glad that Atlanta and NE interrupted Goodell's dream od Pittsburgh vs GB...

Makes you wonder.

Does the salary cap really create more parity? It seems like it's pretty much the same teams every season, at least it seems that way for the patriots. 3 out of the final 4 teams were the same predictable bunch.

If you have a QB that is okay with taking the minimal because his wife makes way more than him, you could compete for a championship too. I'm only partially kidding, the Pats run a top notch organization obviously but it's getting a little old from a fans prospective.

We really need to work to get Dak hooked up with 100 million dollar model in the next 3 years..
now either Ben, Payton or Brady have been the AFC quarterback in 14 out of the past 16 Super Bowls

edit: 13 out of the past 15, still pretty stale from a parity perspective

Any year Dallas makes the playoffs always finishes ahead of years they don't, imo.

Every game except the Cowboys/Packers was a blowout. No tension or drama whatsoever except for that one game.

Awful.
Yes they were and it just had to be our game and were on the short end.

I don't know, stout lads of homes frying potatoes and bacon and grits, but I am enjoying the playoffs.

Not everything needs to have high drama!!

Now you can go back to your Housewives of New Jersey evening.
Sometimes, you demean football because ITS NOT A VIDEOGAME GAMERS!!!

THESE PROS PLAYED HARD!!

SORRY THEY DID NOT MEET YOUR COUCH EXPECTATIONS!

Spoiled brats want drama in ever game now! Unbelievable! We never had too much drama in the playoffs during our dynasty years, dang it!

The salary cap is the league's way to ensure labor costs don't escalate. In theory it also helps w/parity but the real reason is it keeps more money in the owner's pockets.

I wish they would change the salary cap slightly. I think if you draft a player or sign him as an undrafted free agent, then you can pay him more than he could earn from any other team. Similar to what the NBA does. Sure players are free to test free agency at anytime when their contracts expire. But the team that drafts you can pay whatever they want to keep you. Then have a separate "cap" for players who have bounced around the league
