The AFC playoffs were a huge disappointment, but in the NFC it was pretty good, except for the dam GB/Dallas game where we lost -_-

Spoiled brats want drama in ever game now! Unbelievable! We never had too much drama in the playoffs during our dynasty years, dang it!
In unvarnished vernacular, mate, this ranks with the "we shouldn't even show up against the Packers" post.
The sarcasm is utterly a fail. And I say that with all due respect, good lad!

We all know why this season sucked for football. If they don't fix it.....It will only get worse.

The NFL needs to clean house. Rid the gene pool of 85 year old refs.
I would recommend starting at the top of the food chain and working down from there. Leaving idiots like Blandino in charge of anything is a recipe for disaster.

Every game except the Cowboys/Packers was a blowout. No tension or drama whatsoever except for that one game.

Awful.
If not, pretty close, i think I watched about 10 minutes worth of real football today. Without Dallas, it's hard for me give a you know what.

No real standout defenses in the playoffs this year despite the Texans ranking #1 in defense, they only had 31 sacks. This enabled the high powered offenses to take over. Atlanta and NE ranked #2 and #4 in total offense.

If the Super Bowl is a classic, no one will remember the crappy playoffs. Same as when there is a crappy Super Bowl, no one really remembers if the playoffs were great leading up to it.

And the sad part is that game should've been a blow out by us beating them down. We are the only team that failed to do our part.

The NFL better hope the Star saves them again next regular season. Can the TV contacts be lowered, or are the dollars set in stone until the next contract?
They have claw back clauses in place if contract (ratings) underperform projections which is the underlying value of the ad charges. Typically that is done via an in kind exchange (e.g., more ad space at no cost) than in actual return of $. That may be why we are seeing so many additional commercials these days. Lol.

NFL would have benefitted from us making to NFC championship and super bowl. Ratings all day
Yet they still would rather stick to us with lousy officiating and bogus interpretations of rule book penalties. They must all really hate Jerry.

If ratings keep taking a hit and fans are tuning out because of horrible ref jobs they will have to. NFL is just being lazy and cocky because they could always get away with it. Now that fans are starting to say F this, they'll have to address it sooner than later.

Right. Packers didn't have any business there. Would have been a whole different ball game if we played Atlanta

Im sick of watching Dallas be under the officials microscope and seeing the other team get away with blatant things that decide close games.

I tuned out yesterday and I hope the ratings are awful.

If you have a QB that is okay with taking the minimal because his wife makes way more than him, you could compete for a championship too.

I know you said you were partially kidding, but that is not even remotely true about Brady.

What exactly isn't true? Brady does make below his value. He should be the highest paid player in the league but his average per year on his current contract is not even top 10.

He is still compensated very well but his wife is worth double what he is do he may be more inclined to take less money than other quarterbacks.

I actually misread the original quote (not the one here, from my first post) this morning as he was taking the minimum (as in vet minimum). I jumped on it because most believe he took a pay cut recently when it was a restructure. I apologize @robjay04 , he is a bargain considering he could command top QB money.

She's actually worth a lot more then double him. But both are well beyond caring about money other than as a scorecard.
