I can only agree if the Cowboys manhandled them. They didn't. Both games were pretty close. I've played sports and played a team three times in a season where we won both games during the regular season only to lose in the championship to the same team. So.....I believe it's real. The Commanders have a potent offense. I hope you're right, but I've lived that before and when it's close for both games....it could easily not go our way in game three.I've never bought into the mantra that it's hard to beat a team three times. Why? if anything, beating a team twice shows you're better than them. It should give you a lot of confidence if you play a third time. I think it's just something people say in case they do lose the third game. It's just an built in excuse in waiting. Maybe they're thinking about the law of averages. Maybe they think the team that lost the first two games will be more motivated the third time around. Really??? That would provide more motivation than simply knowing if you lose in the playoffs, you're done? I just don't buy it. I would rather be the team that won the first two games than the one that lost them if a third meeting happens in the playoffs.

You need elite defense and good offense but yet Vikings still lost and that's over coming refs tooNo, until we show that we have a defense that can stop really good offenses without help from the our offense. All you have to do is watch the Vikings game and with an average offense you can handle the Cowboys.
I've read a lot about which teams we would prefer to meet in the playoffs at each level.
Who do you think these other NFC prefer not to meet? Those hoping their AFC team makes the superbowl... surely they have a preferred opponent as well. Does anyone want to face the Cowboys ?
Is there any team out there that thinks the Cowboys are the team they match up the best against?
Surely we are the scariest team out there right now. Opinions?
Edited to add: I must have worded this poorly! I'm not asking who WE are afraid to meet. I'm asking, are WE not the team that everyone else is afraid to meet?
ATL and GB could both hang 40 on us, and I don't like trying to beat a team 3 times. Especially WAS, who could have beaten us in both games.
I don't get this sky is falling mentality with Cowboys fans. We can hang with any and all NFC teams.
1985 Bears. Outside of that, BRING IT!
lol, I'm not saying otherwise. I'm just saying it's not impossible for a team to score a whole bunch of points against this defense. Good grief.I don't get this sky is falling mentality with Cowboys fans. We can hang with any and all NFC teams.
Of course....but it's completely different when you've played the team a couple times. But....okOf course a third game might not go our way. But, it would have absolutely nothing to do with the first two games. Any team we play in the playoffs might beat us. It simply means they played better in that game or we made more critical mistakes. Well, there is a third reason. Getting screwed on a bad call like we did in Green Bay two years ago.
