The only reason Shotty is making that much is because people were criticizing Jerry for being a cheapskate. It's not because Shotty deserves it. It's one of those reactionary responses that this front office makes to compensate for their lack of football GM acumen.

anything is possible, so far he has put together a pretty good staff and will be out to prove a lot of people wrong. I would not be shocked to see Cowboys back into the post season next year.

Schotty is here for one main reason. And until that horrible contract is up, the answer is no.

I think you've got it spot on. Schotty and Dak will probably be around for the next 3 or 4 seasons, and then I expect a massive overhaul.

I guarantee you it will not happen. Shotty is here for 4 years. Jerry has said it multiple time, he hates coaches dead money.
