This years draft and FA periods yielded a TE,DT and Safety of quality

1. A good TE is pretty important in "Big Mike's" WC offence. (Witten gone?)

2. I think Nolan would love a big belly to eat space in the middle.

3. Heath can't last forever.

Most would be happy if we had an elite QB that can strike on stride, play well enough with the game on his shoulders, be mobile if he has to, had better accuracy, etc. Ex: Mahomes, Jackson, Watson, Wilson.

Most of our problems would be fixed if we fixed the problem at the QB position.

Let’s give MM a year with Dak. I wouldn’t have my feelings hurt if they tagged him this year.

He's gonna get tagged. It what both sides want. Dak wants the tag to wait for the new CBA comes out so he can sign a stupid huge contract under the new CBA. And the Cowboys want to see what he can do with McDouble.

Sign UFA NT DJ Reader formerly of the Texans He is a 6' 3" 347 pound behemoth that could really help the Dallas DL.

Draft S Xavier McKinney (after trading back a few spots and adding a 4th rounder as I think Delpit will be gone before #17)

Re-sign TE Blake Jarwin, let TE Witten retire again, and draft a developmental TE via the 3rd or 4th round of the draft

im happy right now. MM has come in with a strong staff. The only thing i am concerned about is FA and the draft. Im glad he has time.

So far so good.

im taking this offseason like the season, 1 step (1 game) at a time.

January and a strong coaching staff, check.

lets roll on.

I think we need DT, safety and CB
CB is kinda big
We have two FA this year that we’re starters and more next year
We need a couple of CB

Reader is interesting
Doesn’t get a lot of sacks but he does get pressure and is a big boy in the middle
Even a big guy has to pressure the QB, it’s just too important
Up the middle pressure helps the edge guys and he does get some pressure

Richard Rodgers is a name to watch at TE as a free agent.

After finally getting rid of Jason Garrett if we were to come away with upgrades at the TE. DT. & safety position, that would be the equivalent of a walk-off Grand Slam:dance:

CB is a big need. Losing Byron Jones & Anthony Brown. Awuzie is a bust. Much bigger need to fill over safety. CB & DT should be priority #1 in draft.

We do. When healthy (had bad shoulder end of season) and give a wr who don't disappear facing elite cb's (Cooper)l, or have the dropsies (Gallup) or an offensive coordinator learning on the job.
