If didn’t have dumb ownership /gm with no brains we could try and get rid daq just like eagles got rid wence. Need true aggressive gm who just wants to win and no loyalty

Again, Wentz was traded two years after his extension kicked in. So it was easier to move because it involved eating less contract. Since Dak just got his contract, it's way more painful from a cap perspective.
If you trade Dak, you have to take an additional $23 million in cap charges. This team is already starting $13 million OVER THE CAP. So if you move him, for all intents and purposes you are now $36 million over the cap. To get into cap compliance, you are basically talking about gutting your team because you would have to cut some very productive players just to get in cap compliance by start of league year.
The first time you can try to trade him is after the 2022 season.
All the reasons why a trade really can't happen aside....
Maybe a late pick to bring him in as a backup but who in their right mind would give up much for a damaged QB who is not a difference maker but is paid like he is one?
