Yeagermeister;3279981 said:Me either but hopefully with better backups than Proctor, McQ and Preston
Doomsday101;3279983 said:I agree but hopefully it will be with young men who are making a serious push for playing time as the season goes on. I'm not expecting a rookie to just walk in and take over a job but I would like to think we could get some young talent in who by mid season is making the progress to compete for more than just a backup role

Adams/Iupati/Gurode/Davis/Colombo
With Jason Fox drafted in the 3rd so backup tackles are Free and Fox being built up for the future.
If it happens that way
Free/Iupati/Gurode/Davis/Fox could start as soon as 2011. w/ Colombo as #1 backup-

Having said that, I really hope they give Free the opportunity to win a position this year because he played great at Right Tackle when Colombo went down.
I am also getting it in my head that Iupati will not be there when we pick, so I hope that we can get another good line prospect with either our first or second pick.

It's been a while since we've traded up in RD1. We went quantity last year. Since we have such a stacked roster and so many 2nd yr prospects returning, maybe we should go quality this year.
