I wouldn't call Belichick if he offered to coach for free.

I've never been a fan of his as he never won anything without Tom Brady and even Bruce Arians won a Super Bowl coaching the Buccaneers with a 43-year old Tom Brady.

Belichick is a real hc and Jerry doesn’t hire those kind of coaches, nor do legitimate head coaches ever consider taking the Dallas job. Jerry is not going to hire the type of hc needed to turn things around.

BB would want just as much control if not more than BP had and Jethro said after BP left he would never give up that much control again.

I think this would be Jerry's main option. He will be desperate. He's not going to bring in some other retread or a hotshot coordinator who doesn't have HC experience. Belichick has also been waiting for an NFL opportunity but no one wanted him so that's why he settled for UNC. He would leave his college job in a heartbeat if any NFL team comes calling

Should we? Even if it's just a 2 year temporary fix but gets us pointed in the right direction, should we give him a call to see if he'd come back to the NFL? At very least we'd have some sort of discipline hopefully. We'd be prepared, even if we lose. This team doesn't know how to prepare and win. It's clear. With our young guys we drafted, I think hiring BB could be enough to at least win the division. Nobody takes this team serious. He'd be a bridge. But an upgrade over this horrifying staff.
