Would you consider signing Saquon Barkley as Zeke replacement?

Why yes! I would give him whatever he wants on name recognition alone, lol. Some people will never learn; they shun Jerry ( snake oil salesman) and fall for a game of Three-card Monte.

I’d take Saquon on 5m per season in a heartbeat. 12-15m per season is where the top contracts for a running back are and if you can get a guy as talented as Barkley on 1/3 of the price of a top running back then you should take it.
He will not be taking that if he were the NYG will keep him jeez..rather draft a guy in the 3rd round cheap fresh RB..

We already have a fast explosive back in Pollard. If we sign or draft a RB to replace Zeke then I'd shoot for between the tackles, tough runner that can get the short yardage plays.

One big question in my mind is would you guys want Zeke back next year if he took a massive pay cut? I go back and forth on that one. If Zeke was willing to take a massive pay cut I still would use either our 2nd, or 3rd or 4th pick to draft a replacement.
Yes this is a good option, NO SB!

I would rather restructure Zeke ....... Barkley is more injury prone than Sean Lee, Tyron Smith, and Romo combined.

Was talking with my neighbor earlier who's a Giant fan. He thinks the Giants are going to letting him walk coz no way they are giving him a long-term deal and he's not worth tagging. IF correct, his market value is lower than I expected. With a history of injuries, he may have to settle for a prove-it deal before getting a long-term.

Spotrac puts his market value at $4.4M or 4 years $17.4M
2022 franchise tag for RB is $9.7M

For $4 million AAV, I would. He’s going to get a lot more than that because that’s how free agency works. I would not pay him or any RB what I think he’s going to get. Probably sound $10 million AAV.

The NFL is just a better place with a healthy Saquon. He's such a fun player to watch.

I'd take him for $4M a season, but he's not re-signing for $4M a season. I doubt even Tony Pollard re-signs for $4M a season.

I agree but I doubt he can get any team to sign him a long-term w/o a prove-it deal

If we have learned anything from Zeke, it's that no RB should get a second, high end contract. Even Derrick Henry is showing signs of decay

No I wouldn't, but the we better be ready to slow the league leading rusher down on Monday night.
Giants are an easy team to beat, just have to stop their running game and they will fold like a cardboard box..
