Would you draft 2 Cb's in the first round?

Again, how many first round picks would that be for us on the defensive side of the ball? Man, it seems like we should be better on D.

I say no.

Teams have proven over the years that you can win with lesser corners just by good execution and scheme. The most recent example is the Giants.

Its gotta be won in the trenches.... TNew plus two other good/great corners doesnt do all that much for us. No corner can cover a WR for more than a few seconds anyway.

It worked out pretty well for Philly a few years ago, when they planned on letting Vincent and Taylor walk. If we had similar plans for Newman and Henry, and felt this class of CBs were that good, I think it would be a brilliant move for the future, given the current state of free agent CB contracts.

It would depend, if you don't like a WR or RB there then do we take a LB just because we don't want to draft two CB's. If he's BPA by a margin take him.

Problem is, you never know what ol' Jerry will do.

Last year's pick had CB screaming at him, and he picked another LB.

Then we had the Stanbach pick.

Stay tuned....

We didn't pick a LB last year, did we? Not according to your Eisen pic...

I don't think so. I think with Henry and Newman you have time to take one this year and another later or early next year.

I'd take 2 CBs before taking just 1 CB and than one of the 2nd Tier 1st Round RBs, like many think we should do. I wholeheartedly believe both are going to be packaged for McFadden in one form or another though, so this is a moot point as far as I'm concerned. But 2 CBs taken would be a good plan b.
