Would you have Tim Tebow over Romo?

I just wanted you all to know I did not read more than a handful of posts in this thread. And somehow I do feel a little dumber.

This is a black hole thread. It sucks everything in and still sucks.

:laugh2:

They say there's no such thing as a stupid question.

The original poster proved that maxim wrong.

Tebow is far from being a finished product for the NFL. He can get away with running around with college level players, but when he gets to the next level, he will get pounded. His passing will need a lot of work against NFL defenses.

LOL, No I wouldn;t trade him for Romo.......

I tried to post an award for you but the forum will not allow it. Maybe a mod can come to the rescue.

Wow is there another Tim Tebow that doesn't play for a "Florida" college declaring for the draft?

If I did not know better I would think many who talk about Romo in december never watch the games. Tony is one of the top QB's in the league and while it is easy to say he has not won in Dec if people bother to watch you would see a lot of things have failed late in the season none more important that the play of the offensive line. Without them opening holes for the RB and without them providing protection for Romo the offense does not roll. Our success or failure on offense is the guys up front without them we are toast.

There you go again trying to get the thread back on track.

By the way I agree 100%. There is no rational way to pin our December woes on one player or one coach. It has been a team issue. Not an individual issue.

While I would not take Tebow as the QB of the Cowboys I will say he is one of the best college QB's I have seen and he brings allot to the table for Florida. The guy is as tough as nails, bring the intensity and fire to that team. His game is great for the college ranks but he has some major flaws in his mechanics as a passer and I think will struggle at the next level.

Best case for Tebow will be if he gets drafted by one of the top teams and sit behind a quality QB where he will be able to learn and develop to have a chance at making the necessary changes in his mechanics
