Would you have traded our first for Trent Richardson?

Would you have traded our 2014 1st rounder for Trent Richardson?

I don't think many people anticipate our pick to be far off from the Colts in the 2014 draft. I definitely would've pulled the trigger, it would've been a steal.

I guess you've been impressed with Richardson's 3 yards a carry? I just don't see why anyone even invests in running backs in the 1st round anymore. Unless you are one of these teams picking late in the 1st round who clearly don't have many holes. I just don't get it. Our run blocking isn't much better than the Browns so i'd expect that 3 yards per carry to stay the same or get worse here.

I think its a terrible move for the Colts. A team trying to rebuild around Luck and his best option is a mid 30's wide receiver. Just not smart IMO.

No, no, no and oh, absolutely no! Even if the Cowboys were one player away from a SB run, Trent is not the answer. Trent is not leaps and bounds better than Demarco.

I would never trade a 1st for any RB not named AP.

No way...the marginal difference would not have mattered with the current oline and our rush scheme. Would only give a #1 for a tackle, de/dt maybe an elite safety.

Nope. Richardson at 3.4 a carry this year and DeMarco is at 3.5.

Not in a million years. I am not convinced he is much, if any, better than what we have.

Is that you, Jerry? It would have been a steal all right, but I'm not a Browns fan, so I would not have been happy. At all.

This was an absolute panic move by the Colts. The player the Browns signed off the street to replace Richardson, McGahee, would have been a much better option.

How could you? This team doesn't care to run the ball.

As for the YPC, people don't actually expect that it stays there do they?

Hopefully our pick next year is above at least 27. With that said, HEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!! Nobody in next years draft will be as good as he is right now at that point in the draft.

We've got Murray, he's fine enough.

Murray + 2014 1st round pick > Murray + Richardson.

But if I was anyone in the other 2/3rds of the league that has a suspect runner / old runner (Giants, Colts, Jaguars, Jets, Saints, Panthers, Cardinals, Steelers, etc.) yeah I'd go for the trade.
