Would you have traded our first for Trent Richardson?

Hence the 2 1st rounders and benching Weeden and trading Trent. They are all in for Bridgewater. remember that Clowney is coming out too. Even if JAX manages to loss more games than the Browns, trading down one spot and picking up Clowney with a chance to get JM later in the draft isn't such a bad thing.
That's the exact logic they used when getting Richardson and Wheedon..

“I believe the safest pick in the draft—beyond Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III—is Alabama running back Trent Richardson. He’s a blue-chip player and has all the skills to quickly establish himself as a top-five player at his position. Forget the nonsense about not taking backs early—everyone would love the chance to get this guy.”

—Mike Lombardi, current Cleveland GM and former NFL.com columnist and NFL Network analyst, writing on NFL.com on April 23, 2012, three days before Richardson was picked third overall in the draft by the Browns.

This is the best thing that could have happened to Trent Richardson. He must be living right.

That said: Not for Dallas, but Indy had a need and filled the hole and added a whole new dimension to their offense in the process.

you don't trade a first for a RB, Trent's injuries concern me, not that Demarco doesn't have his own problems...but at least he only cost us a third
