I was referring to his conditioning, not his physical makeup.Kennedy probably hasn't hit a treadmill since he retired.

That may not be the case, Kennedy agent called the Cowboys so if Kennedy determined he wanted to give it another try you don't think he would have been putting in some work to get himself ready? He has been around long enough to know this.

To me, if you sign him, that means you're cutting either Columbo or Fabini. Because there's no way you're giving up on Petiti, nor are you gonna carry 5 tackles.

I must say I find it interesting that Iceberg the one so famous for the "we didnt do anything" on the OLine mantra would be against trying to do something on the OLine

Who says it has to be an O-lineman who gets released? In the end your right we won't keep 5 tackles but we don't have to release one right away either.

Who says he won't back up both Guard and Tackle, I think Perterman is the one that should have his bags packed.

I'm sure he thinks he's ready to go.But,Flo only missed half a season, and he's having a hard time getting back up to speed.I just dont feel that bringing in a guy thats 2 years removed from Football will help us.

I say bring him in for the rest of camp and if he can't cut it for the next couple of weeks then send him back to NFL Network

This poll makes absoutely no sense, whatsoever!

No one knows if the guy can even play, yet here is a poll with people actually voting "yes"!

This poll is like making a poll that says;

Do you want to buy this car?
yes
or
no

When you have not even seen the freaking car!

You may be right but it cost Dallas nothing to bring him in and see what he has. Just reading some of the post some are making it sound like he has been sitting on the couch eating potato chips and just decided hey why not play football again. The guy is a vet and knows what it takes and things he has to do to get ready. I don't expect he will be in great football shape but if his condition is good he can get himself into football shape.

no, because that would spell trouble. that would mean we suck so that we had to go out and get an older veteran who has been out of football for two years and he made the team....that would really suck

I don't think anyone voted with the ideal of just signing him without the team working him out 1st

I didn't vote because I don't know what he'll do in his w/o, or how he looks, if he sounds motivated, ect.

But if he looks like he's in shape and you think he's an upgrade relative to what we have now then by all means yes sign him. That is providing the financial end of things is not the sticking point of course.

The offensive line is the one spot on the team with the most questions. It has the potential to be a real problem and a sticking point in whatever postseason aspirations Parcells and company have.

It would be foolish for them not to look at all their options here.
