I'll root for him to stay healthy. It ends there once he's on another team. Having said, if the matchup he is in favors us by him winning, of course I would root for him.

Absolutely I would.. As long as it doesn't effect us negatively in any way.

I cheered for the Broncos because of D. Ware.

While CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora refutes this report, saying it's "hardly out of the question" Romo remains in Dallas, smoke is beginning to turn to fire, the dots being connected

Would you guys and gals be able to pull for Romo if he gets trade in the off-season? I know I wouldn't pull for him if he played against us however it's hard for me not to pull for him as much as he has done for us. What's everyone's thoughts? Looks like Denver will make a run for Romo this offseason.

I "pulled for" Herschel Walker in his first season with the Vikings. That's the last time I remember "pulling for an ex-Cowboys player".

It would be easier to root for Romo if he goes to an AFC team. If a team gives the Cowboys a 1st round pick for him, I'll start rooting right now.

I would still be OK with him going to an NFC team as long as it's not in the NFC East but I would probably root for him more if he was in the AFC. I would be fine facing him in the Super Bowl.

So all of you people saying no, none of you were rooting for Demarcus Ware last year in the playoffs and Super Bowl to get his ring? Really? Don't see a difference.

Ridiculous question that sadly will be answered incorrectly by too many.

I'm a Cowboys fan. I root for the Cowboys. The moment he's no longer here he becomes irrelevant to me. The moment he's on another team I'll root against him and probably take cheap shots at his family.

Why would I want a) another team to have success and b) quite possibly our own front office to have made a mistake in this decision? For what? A feel good human interest story?

Never happen with me. I do not and never will player worship. I'll always remember why I liked that player in the first place and how that dynamic is no longer there.

Not at all. Not even in the slightest. Nor was I happy he got one when he did.

I'm a huge Romo fan, and would absolutely pull for him. I'd just prefer he's in the AFC lol
