I'm fine pulling for an ex player as long as it doesn't negatively affect the team. I'm glad Ware got a ring, but I'm bummed it wasn't with us. Life's short. I'm not going to waste my remaining years bitter at things that didn't turn out exactly as I wanted. If Romo gets a ring as QB for the Broncos, I'll be glad for him, but I'm rooting against him if they've playing the Cowboys.

Sorry dude, nobody said anything about not rooting for the Cowboys. I will always root for the Cowboys. That being said, I can still cheer for Romo when he's not playing our team.

Well let's think about that. The Cowboys decide to go Dak over Romo. We are 4-12 and the Broncos are making a playoff run. Why would I be happy to see that when it almost definitely means we made the wrong decision?

It depends on how he leaves. If he leaves in a classy fashion such as he has maintained, then yes. If his tone changes and he starts taking shots, then no. I hope that whatever happens, he will remain or come back in some capacity and be with the team for a long time. I would love for him to work his way up the coaching ladder and take over for Garrett down the road. He has too much money to probably want to go through the coaching grind but I still hope that will happen.

It would steam my clams to see Romo win a title somewhere else. That's like a nightmare to me.

How about if we get a first round pick? Shouldn't we root for him to lose every game and get us the first overall pick? I love Tony, but if we get a high pick for him I think I may want his team to lose every week. If it's a 3rd or 4th, I'm not inclined to care about the draft position so I'll root for him if it doesn't negatively impact the Cowboys in any way.

I was happy to see Ware get his ring though. Does that make me not a man? Damn.
