Would you put any packages together to get Prescott on the field this year?

no, odds of Romo making it the entire season without any injury is slim, he can play then. On top of that, any games where were are up by a lot/down by a lot, we can get him snaps.

I hear ya it's not like a romo offense needs any help, but daks threat of the run/pass option could open some stuff up.

I remember when the wildcat came around Troy aikman was like man I gotta be honest if I was playinb and they tried to run this stuff and take me off the field Id have something to say about it

Define "works". That's anecdotal and there is value in having multiple looks to have teams prepare for.

I just have never seen a team at the pro level have success bringing QBs in and out of games.

Especially with elite Quarterbacks like Romo.

No nope nada. Groom him the traditional way. Let him play if Romo is hurt, or if we are blowing out peeps and are resting Romo. If Romo is playing and healthy, let him watch.

No trickery needed. Trickery, deceit, lies, anger, and special sub packages are tools of the dark side

No.

If Romo is healthy, he's in the game. Dak only needs to see the field if 1) Romo is injured (God forbid), or 2) We're squashing the opponent by multiple touchdowns in the 4th quarter and it's garbage time.

I really, really, really do not want to see them throw him into a gimmick just for the sake of it. Having him pick up some stupid RG3 type injury would be literally the worst thing this franchise could do. They seem to have fallen arse backwards into a potential QB, don't ruin it with novelty garbage. Dak can pass, don't force him to be a running Qb, Tony is the perfect guy to learn from in this regard.

No, this would only be a possible set back. We want him groomed to be the QB, not a gadget player. We do not need a Kordell Stewart, only to be ruined.

We have other players for these type of plays. If they ever would use them to begin win. Not this teams style from past history of plays.

Fate is more than likely to decide when Dak is destined to take the field. There's no need for the FO or staff to rush his development and be "thrown to the wolves" before he's fully prepared to assume a starter's role. Prescott has a lot to learn before he's polished sufficiently to assume control of the team as a starter. It would benefit him immensely to be afforded the necessary time and knowledge to earn great success as a QB.
