Would you rather have Elliott, or Aaron Jones GB rb?

Jones was a 5th round pick so packers are paying him peanuts, and of course our guy now gets
15 mil a year lol.
This guy Jones is impressive, In KC game last nite he was the difference, with 2 catches out of backfield
that he turned into long td runs.
Nobody could catch him.
As we saw against us, he can run thru the line and do the tough running too.
On top of that from what they said last nite , he is also a RKG type guy , no trouble off field, and highly motivated to be the best he can be.
So I for one would rather have him over elliot and it isnt even close.
He is a game changer and capable of big plays.

This is just for fun, as we are stuck with the feed me ewok boy (with the nose rings )
stuck LMAO.. right I guess 2016-2018 dint happen? we would not have won without 21, period, it showed in 2017, stats on how we do when he gets over 75 is so insane its not worth debating..2019 hes stop 5 yet under performing? at least hes the only back wit the big new contract still playing well..and NOT INJURED9this matters Kamara, SBarkely, conner, Johnson, and others all missing a lot of games).. hes always available and can take the load anytime..

these scenarios are stupid because both are under contract and arent going anywhere..next ridiculous EE troll thread? if we are playing Fantasy go use the best back for 2019 ie Maccafrey as a scenario..also one that isnt playing with an Elite Qb who helps open the run game..SMH:facepalm:

Well I’m saying it’s not realistic in there aren’t many DTs in the league worth 14 million a year. Sure I’d love Aaron Donald but the only way you get these guys if if you draft them and the Cowboys won’t draft them. That’s what I mean by unrealistic.

I have seen some DT's available over the last few years. Poe and the other DT that left the Rams, ect...ect... Not saying I would pay either. Its just that they have been available. Not sure pro bowl guys are available.

Some, but the UT's command a big salary. A quality NT, OTOH, can be had for around 3-8 mil.

Picking up the tough yards, pass blocking, and durability are the things that Zeke does better. All other things Jones is better at.

Is that worth a difference of 14 million per year in salary? I wouldn't pay it.

Then of course you have the off the field, immaturity, and leadership void issues with Zeke.
nah

No, you can definitely come to a conclusion that one player is better than another. It's not just opinion. Some people might argue that Gallup is better than Julio, that doesn't mean that Julio being better than Gallup isn't a fact.

I don't lose arguments, sorry. And that's a very random last paragraph that also isn't factual.

If a player is a better receiver, runs at a higher success rate, forces more missed tackles, eludes more tackles in the first place, increases your chance to win when he touches the ball more than the other, and does it behind an worse oline and on a worse offense then yes, that player is better. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. That's where you and others lose arguments, you think everything they should be participation trophies and that we can't compare players on a football forum.

I noticed you started that last paragraph with a biased statement, ," if a player is better". All of that is opinion, and much of that opinion is based on past performance, or current exploits. It is not based on the individuals whole volume of work.

Wrong again my friend. Who determines "the best" of anything? Some teams are rated, due to past rankings and media input. Dallas is rated high, but even you can see, that this line is not that good.

My argument is not just about Zeke, it is concerning any stated opinion.
While many statements are given as fact, it may be cautionary to be objective.

We need to use Pollard like GB uses Jones. Get him involved. The more weapons we use the tougher it is for DCs to scheme us.
This is a good point, but you wont see that because our Hc and the OC, are only going to use pollard a few plays a game
just to give ewok a rest .
See the thing is now that jerry paid ewok the big money, he wants to get his moneys worth, so it is solely the EE show.

Elliot getting the extension, has made the pollard pick a wasted pick.
Why? because initially they said he would be used as a receiver like dunbar, and a punt returner, because he had
the good speed and big play abilitys.
But then the elliot holdout, and now all that has been swept under the rug in favor of handing off to ewok.
We never saw any of the special plays to pollard.
And it could be also Jason isnt allowing any new plays to the playbook, just changes to the existing plays.

So to me Pollard is now a wasted pick, weber or one of the backs they cut, could be doing what pollard is doing now.
And they could have picked another player instead of Pollard.
Basically they drafted a potentially explosive player, but instead of using him creatively they have neutered him
down to elliots out of breath replacement for a few plays a game.

Yes, I'm leaning towards the opinion that the Cowboys should trade Zeke and get some 1st round draft picks, and build around Dak and Pollard. It's what the Patriots would do, so let's do that. :p

No, seriously, I'm thinking they could really cash out on Zeke right now, save the money, roll with Pollard...and then keep building through the draft into next season. Forget the "win now" mentality, let's keep building a winning team for the next 10 years. I just don't know if Zeke is worth breaking the bank for, I just don't see it...not game in and game out. I do think the inconsistent, over-rated offensive line is not helping his cause....though to me, all the more reason not to go all in on a RB right now.

The time to trade Zeke was before this huge contract. His value just dropped dramatically with that price tag.

With a team as young as we have, I wouldn't necessarily be worried about "win now" either.

Not sure getting rid of Zeke would hurt that as much as people think.

That is funny because many here say he is elite, the best or top 3, and yet if he were put on the trade block,
there might not be any takers at the price it would cost with his salary, plus what they give up in picks.
The only way jerry would trade him is if his game play goes way down.
Jerry probably would not trade him even then because it would make him look stupid for giving him the big deal.
And if he put him up for trade and not 1 team wanted him , same thing it would make him look stupid.

I don't think Jerry trades him. No chance.

Its really the cost of Zeke that is the deterrent for me.

I just don't believe you ever pay the RB position big money. Especially the way this team is built and where its going.

Maybe a team built like Aikman and the Cowboys. But not this team.

Yeah I just don't see many guys. There are guys like Suh and McCoy who were available. But that doesn't stop you from getting Zeke. Zeke literally has not stopped this team from signing anyone. The Cowboys situation at DT and safety is their own doing.

I'd pick the over weight big head ewok 7 days a week over the average Joe Arron Jones.

Its about team building. Its about management. I dont pay any back 15 million when I have the highest paid Oline in football. And certainly not when I have a passing game behind Dak, Cooper, and the way this offense is going forward.

It’s also about staying healthy. I guarantee jones will be injury prone at some point. Zeke doesn’t miss games. He’s durable and great at everything.

Well to me that's the real issue. I don't have the highest paid offensive line. To me that's foolish. Paying max money for 3 linemen and I believe Collins gets big money.......I can't agree with that. Zeke is more than just a running back to this team. IMO, you should have a solid offensive line just having 2 pro bowlers on it. They have arguably 4 yet the run blocking and pass protection at times are still iffy. But that's offensive line. The best offensive line in the league will still give up sacks. It will still have its problems run blocking.
