Would You Rather Play Philly in the Divisional or Green Bay in the NFCCG?

I see some people wanting to avoid GB, but they can only get in as the 7th seed and if they win their first game have to play Philly in the divisional. We would not see them until the NFCCG if at all.

If they miss the playoffs, we would get the NFC South winner then Philly barring some 6/7th seed upset.

What scenario is more appealing? Philly in the divisional or GB in the NFCCG?

To me I think it’s simple I’d much rather play the Pack in the Championship game for the simple fact that we would have actually made it there. It would also be a home game.

A part of me also wants GB to make it because if they are hot they can take Philly out in the divisional. Losing to Philly in Philly in the divisional would suck. Keep in mind if we beat Philly in the divisional ourselves, the 49ers likely await in the NFCCG.

Thoughts?

Letting Washington beat our backups to eliminate Green Bay would make up for taking a loss in a game that is meaningless to us. If the Commanders lose to the Browns before we get to that game, that's on them.

I'd get quite a bit of satisfcation from Rodgers and the Packers being eliminated the last week because of us.

How about they get past the Wild Card round before thinking about Championship Game opponents?

I am not a player on the team lol, I can think as far ahead or behind as I’d like. Slow week, just a fun thread. It has no bearing on the teams mindset or direction.

Every year hype train after we beat the overrated Eagles... the story then goes "Superbowl here we come!"

First round bounce.

I want to believe, but I am like a battered wife at this point.

Much rather face GB at home
Than Philly on the road.

Yeah I’m assuming Philly wins 1 of the next 2 and locks us into the fifth seed. But stranger things have happened.

If we win the NFC east we would most likely get the bye unless Minnesota wins out. One loss from Minny and two eagles losses plus our running the table and we are the 1. In that scenario we’d likely see Philly at home unless one of the 6th or 7th gets an upset.

There are a lot of scenarios to be honest.

Best possible scenario for us is:

1. Dallas
2. Minnesota
3. San Fran
4. NFC South
5. Philly
6. Giants
7. Detroit/Seattle

Minnesota is very upsettable. If the 7th seed beats them they come into JerryWorld to play us in the Divisional. Detroit or Seattle would be the two easiest matchups for that game as all the teams are either more dangerous or division rivals.

This scenario also (assuming Philly beats the NFC South team) has Philly vs San Fran in the divisional which would be money. Would love to see them knock eachother around with one being knocked out.

Regardless of who we see in the NFCCG it’ll be tough, but we’ll at least be there and have the game at home.
Thanks for laying that all out.
It's mind boggling

Green Bay? Lol. Give me Green Bay or Tampa Bay over a good team any day…

Is this trick question?
One of the options—regardless of who the opponent is—gives us 2 playoff wins and puts us just one game away from the Super Bowl for the first time in 27 years

The other does not

Of course you take the NFC Champ game
