Would you rather watch a really good offense or a really good Defense?

For the love of all that's good the "balance" responses will be stricken from the record..lol This is just about which side of the ball you enjoy being more dominate and why.

As a younger man I like most love the scoring, celebrations and general excitement that comes from a 40 burger. Now that i'm older there is just some special about shutting someone down no matter how hard they try.

What say you?

A really good offense of course but at the same time I can't stand college football games that finish 55 to 58.

Rather watch a really good offense. Rather have a really good defense
So, you go to the bathroom and refill your cool aid after kicks offs knowing there's a good chance to watch the offense again after 3 and out. That would be 1992 all over again. Hope we get to see that again some day. You watch the "O" and i'll catch you up on the "D" when you get back. Perfect world.

I would rather have a defense that holds the opposing teams offense at a one point minimum of what our offense scores.

So we can't say balance but you say you liked offense when younger but defense when older.

So you pick balance.

I don't really care as long as we win by any means necessary. But, if I had to choose, easier for me to get pumped up over a defensive stop to win then us running into the end zone to win. Watching the whole game though, harder to stay awake when it finishes 6-3.

I would rather watch hard working players who play as a team
I agree but sadly it's hard to get a 53 that will all agree to those terms. I was shocked at the players in the league that don't particularly love football , but are good at it so it's all about Money.

If I was afforded that gift I would more like Ronnie Lott that once cut his own finger the rest of the way off just to get back in a game. true story.

Broncos showed the world last year that can't just get by with a great defense.

You need balance. Both sides have to be decent and you need at least one factor that you're elite at...be it offense, defense, passing offense, rushing offense etc. unless you just get hot at the right time(Giants, Ravens etc.)

Dallas has a good offense, an elite rushing offense now we just need a solid defense...our defense doesn't have to be great but they need to be better to put us over the top.

I want balance, but good defenses are the most entertaining parts of football for me.

There is only one thing more enjoyable than seeing the opposing offenses getting shut-down with their QBs beaten senseless,,, and that's watching our offense lighting up the scoreboard for the win.
