Would you rest Henry this week?

There's no question in my mind that the secondary isn't going to get that much better until Henry is ready to start. Would you sit him out this week to get him ready for the Packers game?

if he can't play this week he wont be ready next week. need him to play and get into football mode.

The OP was asking if we should sit him against the Jets, which he probably will be ready for. But even if he is ready, since the Jets dont have much of an offense, should we sit him and give him almost 1.5 weeks of a break so he gets back for the most important game of the season.

IMO, yes, we should rest him, we can win w/o him.

I think if Coles doesn't play, there is really no need for Henry to play. We can double Cotchery with Reeves and safety help, and Newman should be able to shut down whoever else they start with Coles out.

I think rest is the only thing that will get Henry back to 100%. No need to risk aggravating the injury if we don't need him.

what i meant was if he is hurt enough to have to be rested then he wont be 100% for the pack game anyways. plus, he will be a bit rusty.

the Commanders wr's are even worse than the jets. look what they did. they have been PUTRID all year.

You serious? Moss is still a great player, and has been hurt a lot of the year. I agree that the rest of them are awful, but they also have Chris Cooley. Does Chris Baker really strike fear in anyone? RW might give up some passes to Shockey and Cooley, but I'm sure he'll do just fine on Baker.

Other than that, they have Cotchery, who is solid for sure. But he isn't going to win a game by himself, especially with Kellen Clemons starting.

The Jets definitely do not have as many weapons on offense as the Skins do.

We'll be ok.

Our Corners really aren't the problem with our pass defense.

We have plenty of speed right now with Newman/Reeves.

The problems lie with the safeties and our nick/dime packages.

Look for the Jets to try and get favorable match-ups against Hamlin/Roy.

Moss and company abused Reeves pretty good. BUT the Jets do not have the same quality of WRs - not that the Skins WRs are really that good- so I say yes REST Henry and let his ankle heal some more.

How many TD's did the Commanders score on Reeves?

How many TD's did Randy Moss score on Reeves?

Get the picture.

Wade does.

Since Ratliff and Tank are sucking so bad, I would make him play NT against the Jets.

1st I would ask Henry and the trainers and if they feel he can go then he plays.

Reeves is a good corner.
Reeves is a decent CB and is getting better and I hope he can be a great CB with some seasoning.

However, right now, Henry is far better than Reeves, no matter how much you want to believe otherwise.
