Would you sign Henry Ruggs?

- Has Ruggs had any experience as a punt returner ?

- i say yes ,..sounds like the man is sorrowful about that night, very apologetic to the victim's family, and he's paid his debts to society with acrrued jail time
and it would not be the first time that a player for the Cowboys has had manslaughter type charges and the club decided to be committed to him (ala Josh Brent)

- And i agree that's low risk - high reward bottom of the roster try out for the 53 roster,.than making it an instant guarantee roster spot/.
Yeah I don't think he was ever full time at it, but he has returned kickoffs and punts in both college and the NFL.

Has he stated a desire to come back and play football? Maybe he can use his experience to help other young players avoid the same mistakes. Maybe a team or the league can offer him a position doing just that.

As a player, no I'd not be interested in investing in basically a 26 year old rookie who will not have been anywhere near football shape for 5 years.

But he doesn't have to return to the field to be around the game, several opportunities for him.

It's too early at his point to make any judgments as to whether or not he's likely to have a career left in him when his time comes to be released. I'm reasonably certain that up-to-date info will be forthcoming when he's released, however. We'll know more when the time comes for his release. Other teams will, too. Anything can happen at this point. There's lots of info yet to be released in due time.

He made a horrific mistake, no question about it,
a mistake is leaving home and forgetting to turn the kitchen light off.

this clown decided it would be cool to drive drunk and reach speeds of 150mph.

No thanks , I'll pass.
