I would take the deal. We would need some turnovers from the defense and our running game to work when we actually need it to (which I'm highly skeptical of), but I'm afraid of what I would get if I opened up my Orton suitcase and it had 5 sacks and 3 interceptions in it.
Having said that, I expect Kyle to be closer to the good than the bad either way. He's capable.
If I were to tell you that you can have these final stats for Kyle Orton on Sunday night, would you sign up right now?
15 of 26. 190 yards. 2 TD. 1 INT. Sacked 2x.
Murray better have 3 or 4 TDs because we aint beating the Eagles with 14 points from Orton.............................just saying.

LOL not the question young man. The question is would you take this from Orton? I'm thinking you WOULD take this, but I am asking for clarity.
Yes I will take that. Solid night for a rusty backup QB for sure. Limited turnovers.
I hope that Murray will have turned in a 150 yard game for 2-3 TDs. Maybe a FG. Some form of a respectable defense to go along with those Orton numbers. Maybe some good field position from our special teams. However, with nothing known, yes I'd take that from Orton.
Thanks for the answer and thoughts. Yeah, as I was laying out the scenario, I was thinking..."this better come with a Demarco Murray big game".
I'd say what that other guy said, basically. The stat line you posted would give Orton a 90.2 rating, which won't be enough without some real magic from special teams and the running game. Defense gives up a 94.9 rating on average anyway, and Foles has played well above average.Percy you are another guy with superb posts all the time...I'd be interested in knowing your thoughts....would you sign on the dotted line for the above Orton stats?
Did we win?
