Would you take a SB win if it meant a career ending injury?

No on two accounts. Winning a SB without Romo getting the win would be bitter sweet as nobody deserves it more on this team. Two, exchanging someone's health for a game is absurd.

It's these kind of threads that has me questioning the sanity of some people on this board.

I root for the logo. I don't give two bleeps about the players.

If it didn't cripple him in any way going forward in regular life, I'm positive Romo would take the Super Bowl win and call it a career.

I'm sure he would too, as would many players, I just wouldn't make that decision for them.

Yes, for one if the practice squad players, or someone set to retire a year or two after getting it. Other wise no.

I'll give you a different scenario. Forget the career ending aspect of it.

How many of you would take a Super Bowl win with your favorite player TEMPORARILY injured and having to watch it on the sidelines FROM BEGINNING TO END (meaning they get no credit for that particular win).

I think there are guys on the forum who love Romo to the point that they just couldn't stand that scenario. And I'll be honest, I was such an Aikman fan that would have been hard for me to handle in the 90's. Good news for all those guys, though..... ain't no way we are winning a Super Bowl without Tony. ZERO chance.

Would take a Super Bowl win if it meant <insert favorite player name> had a career ending injury?

Hey, Holloman was my favorite player* and he did have a career ending injury... that makes the super bowl a sure thing!

*Not Really

Yes

but after the 10th straight Superbowl, I may get bored and want to spare some careers.
