The OP:
I can testify to that.
Would take a Super Bowl win if it meant <insert favorite player name> had a career ending injury?
I'll give you a different scenario. Forget the career ending aspect of it.
How many of you would take a Super Bowl win with your favorite player TEMPORARILY injured and having to watch it on the sidelines FROM BEGINNING TO END (meaning they get no credit for that particular win).
I think there are guys on the forum who love Romo to the point that they just couldn't stand that scenario. And I'll be honest, I was such an Aikman fan that would have been hard for me to handle in the 90's. Good news for all those guys, though..... ain't no way we are winning a Super Bowl without Tony. ZERO chance.
Football's a game. It's a fun game to watch, but I'm not so invested that I'd willingly trade an extremely dangerous injury to another person for a trophy.
Tony Romo please! Then we'd have to draft his replacement. Who's with me?
Dez is my favorite player. Hey, if it was an injury, where the Doc said he would be fine, but just can't play football anymore(After he helped us get our ring). Then yes, and I would be happy.
Yes. In a second. And so would they.
Have you consulted the player?
You bet I would!
Who's going down?
