Kapernick looked good with the worst coaching staff in the league, worst supporting cast....... I saw some of his games this year and he wasn't half bad aside from one game where he got benched.

I'm assuming you're exaggerating for effect. For years (prior to this past season that is) he was widely considered to be the best pure deep threat in the league behind DeSean Jackson.

Agreed, but Buckner isn't realistic. I could list J.J. Watt, Patrick Peterson, and a bunch of other players I'd take in return too. Smith has proven he isn't a #1 WR and S.F. is looking to move on from him. They aren't looking to deal one of their best young players.

I watched him on the red zone channel. Really didn't see him play any better than Gabbert.
They basically gave him the job in return for renegotiated contract that eliminated 14 million
guarantee.
