Would you trade 1st/2nd pick if Shariff Floyd drops to #9?

No. There's way too much depth in those middle rounds to be trading away picks.

if you want to know why there are so many busts and steals inb the draft in todays nfl? Because of the sr bowl, combine and prodays. players are climbing and falling because of what they do in these 3 events. sharrif was a player sloted for a a vbottom half 1st rd draft. After 3 three events he's a potential top 5 pick? In some cases its a legit climb(Demarcus Ware). But in most cases, these types of players leave the team scratching their heads on what went wrong.

This is also why i'd be fine with Te'o. Fantastic football player.

3) I believe Sharrif Floyd could fall out of the top 10 if the Oakland Raiders pass on him at No. 3.

The teams picking fourth through ninth either don't fit Floyd scheme-wise or they are set at the position. The Tennessee Titans (10th pick) would be his last hope to land in the top 10, barring a trade-up from another team.

The Jets are looking to move down now that they have 2 #1 picks..

Could Jerry make a move like last year(Mo Clairborne) to secure a player that should go in the top 3?

Comment?

I really really wouldn't. Short arms scare me his motor doesn't. Like that he played all over that Florida line but I want for America's team a player which is seen as a home run hit in any draft at the #9 spot.

the chiefs are scratching there heads on what happened to when they drafted poe last year. he did nothing in his first year. I live in Missouri so i read all kinds of chiefs news and they do not have much hope that he is ever going to live up to the hype that he created in last years senior bowl game. I have a feeling Floyd is good player but not the best defensive lineman in this draft.

Some people were scratching their heads that Poe was rated or drafted that high.

Hell no. If we were one person away from contending then maybe. But we made that mistake last season. We can't keep trading high draft picks for a marginally better player at best than what we would have taken had we stayed put. And be without a 2nd rounder at that.

Nor are we in a position to trade out of the 1st round just for more later picks like Jerry used to love to do.

No! I would not trade the number one and two picks for anybody in the draft.

Me too. He should drop because of what happened. Or because he got blown up by the Bama OL. They did that to everybody they faced. Guy is a very good football player and he's going to make some team very happy.

I don't want to be anywhere near Floyd.

He's a good DT, but he's been overhyped more than any player I've ever seen.

Somehow, a guy who struggled to create pressure is now the best pass rushing DT in the draft to some experts..

Richardson says hello.

If Cooper/Warmack are there and Jerry picks someone else, it would be extremely disappointing.

Big difference between this year and last year. Mo Claiborne was the consensus best defensive player in the entire draft. He was the #2 overall player on Dallas's board behind Andrew Luck. Some teams in the NFL even had Claiborne as their number one overall player on their board's. He was about as "NFL ready" as it gets and could step into the starting lineup for all 32 teams.

Floyd is not even in the same zip code that Claiborne was, so to compare the situation from last year to this year is just stupid and so would trading up to draft Floyd.
