Would You Trade A Pick for Sean Payton?

Did not the NFL ban trading picks for coaches after Jon Gruden was traded? I think they did, not that JJ would do that anyway.

Probably the best name out there.

Ideally I'd rather have a young coordinator rather than a retread but that candidate can't work here. He won't be respected.

Very true..

Need a strong personality...some young buck is going to be a pushover

Heck I’d trade a pic for the right offensive coordinator.
Forget HC. We haven’t had a HC in years. We have Jerry and Jerry’s puppet. That won’t change.
An OC and DC are our only hopes of making any significant change.

Anyone who doubts the power of the OC can look to the rise of the Rams and the collapse of the Raiders offense when coaching coordinators changed.

Or David Shula vs. Norv

Of course.

The worst thing to happen to this organization since Johnson was fired is that Sean Payton didn’t stay in Dallas until parcells was done. He has a good relationship with Jerry so he would know how to handle him and he would have been in control of our offense in 07,08,09 etc. could have taken the team over the top

With Bruce arians leaving Arizona now there are going to be a million changes but of course not one here.

The organization needs a new voice and a new direction

Really he's the only guy I could realistically see coming here that could provide an immediate impact, has history with the organization / jerry, and has expressed desire for the job.

He re-committed to NO, so he's not walking away outside of giving them something in return, so hypothetically would you be interested in trading for him? If so how much?
I would trade our entire draft for him.

Would anyone give us a 7th rounder for Garrett?

I don’t really want any head coach that has won a super bowl as a head coach.

I am under the belief that there is a reason why no head coach has ever won a Super Bowl with two different teams. It takes a certain hunger, mentality and even a little luck to win a SB and most head coaches do not have the patience to go through all of that again with another franchise.

Jerrah is not going to bring anyone in, who doesn't understand who is in charge.

All day. But he’s not leaving.

3 Division Championships, 6 Playoff Appearances & 1 Super Bowl= 16yrs NO THANK YOU!

What has he done at Michigan besides lose every big game. The CowboyZone would call for his firing after his first loss.
He got SF in the super bowl with keapernick as a starter and won' have to get his annual butt kicking from Ohio state
