Would you Trade for Javon Walker?

The last time i checked nobody on here was saying we werent that kind of orginaztion, we know what we are, every team in the NFL covers up things like that, including the packers, which was the point of that post

Well, if the Packers are like any other team, then why bring it up?

He seems to think no one has made a big deal about the Packers' transgressions when they have made national news. I heard about every last one of those reports save for Favre cheating on his wife.

The post, IMO, was completely irrelevant. A discussion about Javon Walker could have been had without that information.

Okay, I went back and re-read the first page, and you're right. I missed Avenging Hayseed's comments.

.....Now wait a minute. I NEVER said the Packers were a CLEAN organization! Theyre NOT. I said their fans are in denial about alot of things. I did say however that their fans tend to back the TEAM more than the player though..........

I'd give them a 3rd round pick and a pound of cheese for Walker .
I dunno, dont think they would go for it. Might have to throw in a case of Milwaukee best or Miller light! :laugh2:

I agree with the Skaven, I would be very careful about trading anything of value for a dissatisfied player represented by Rosenhaus. If he wants to show he has trade value and is a good investment, let him prove it by getting a new agent. I think GMs are going to be increasingly wary of dealing with DR. Look at the way San Diego's NY pick felt he had to deceive teams about who his agent was in order to keep from dropping in the draft. It's bad enough having to negotiate with him, much less give up valueable draft picks in order to do so. Doesn't seem like a good game plan to me.

If we felt we could negotiate a long term deal with him then I would, absolutely, without a doubt make that trade! lets see we could aquire a young budding superstar with tremendous deep ball skills for a future first round pick, a WR that would be made irrelavent by this trade, and a fifth round (Sean Ryan?) pick. OR, we could take a chance on the high bust potential of late first round WR's in a very weak WR draft class(2006). No Brainer!. Of course getting Roscoe Crosbie for a fifth could could pay huge dividens in a year or so. Santana Holmes however could be the second coming of Terry Glenn, if he choses to come out.
