Agreed 100%. I don't see him coming out next year. He played at a pretty small HS and really hasn't done much at Texas besides show that he was a better athlete than Ewers was with his legs.This. He’s already said he’s going to play college for awhile as well. Also, let’s be honest. He’s never even started a season yet. He needs some seasoning.
For me, no, I like him. Bought his jersey. At this point though, he's their biggest chip to gain the max amount of assets to improve the team as a whole. It will never happen though.why do you guys hold Micah responsible for all the teams problems? is he that unlikable?
so we lose an all pro and can improve how? the draft is complete crap shoot.i won't be surprised if Eze is a better pass rusher than most guys drafted in the first rd.For me, no, I like him. It definitely is, but more assets, especially higher draft picks, give you more chances to fill all the areas the team needs to improve on vs just having a good pass rusher. Besides, how far you think this team will go continuing to pay all their high priority players top dollar? JJ doesn't care and will focus on the best bandaids available to appease the fans and put a product on the field to keep the revenue flowing. That's why I said, it won't happen, but its probably a smart move to make with the team's makeup.so we lose an all pro and can improve how? the draft is complete crap shoot.i won't be surprised if Eze is a better pass rusher than most guys drafted in the first rd.
Lol uh??Better than the decision you made to be an eagle lover
Of course you would.I would trade Micah for a 4th in 2028
Fair enough. What is so hard to believe about that. The rams trade their top picks all the time. Over the years they have traded
A 2nd for Sammy Watkins
A 2nd and 4th for Marcus Peters
A 1st for Brandon Cooks
A 3rd and 5th for Dante Fowler
Two 1st's and a 4th for Jalen Ramsey
Two 1st's and a 3rd for Matthew Stafford
A 2nd and 3rd rounder for Von Miller
They have picked in the 1st round just 1 time since 2017. DE Jared Verse(24).
If any team had the gusto to pull a trade like this off, it would be the Rams; they would top the list.
This may also be Stafford's last year. He could Retire and open up significant cap space for them to sign Micah to an extension.
The likelihood of this happening is probably very low. Were just brainstorming here.
Your right about that. Jerry probably wouldn't make a high profile trade. Galloway and Roy Williams didn't work out so he might shy away from trading. The Deion and Walker trades really worked for him but that was so long ago. Dallas likes their guys and usually pay their own.Fair enough.
The rams...seem to have a track record. So then...what is Jerry's? What super quality trades does HE make...on either side?
If I knew for sure Archie was coming out and I could get this first pick then yes 100%Micah is our best player and his new contract will be very costly. The Browns have 2 First Round Picks next year. You could use these picks to move up to get Arch Manning or make deals multiple draft picks in the Day 2 & 3 and set us up with a bonanza of future key players. Would you do it?
I like the strategy of trading forward in the draft to accumulate more draft capital.Whenever a team offers 2 #1s for anyone who isn't a QB, you take it.
You don't have to use them next draft; smart teams turn an extra pick into more picks the following year. Most of the time #1s gives you 4 first round picks in 2 years...2+2. You can use them one year if it makes sense, or you can use them for more picks.
Start stockpiling some draft capital for when it's time to go get a legit contender who might be your next franchise QB. That time is likely only 2-3 years away.
finding franchise QBs is not easy, the Bears are trying forever and i dont think even Caleb Williams is it.Whenever a team offers 2 #1s for anyone who isn't a QB, you take it.
