Would you trade Roy Williams (Detroit) for TO?

There must no be one uniform stat keeper, because I've seen 3 different numbers in regards to TO's passes thrown to from yesterday's game.

And if my stats are wrong, I apologize in advance, I hadnt seen those SI stats

How can you apologize in advance when you've already posted them?

You deserve some credit for finding some at least.

This whole thread is stupid, so it doesn't really matter. You just took it to a whole new level... but I suppose that was your intent from the beginning! :p:

As long as we're entertaining this absurd hypothetical, what would they put on the back of the uniforms to differentiate between the two Roy Williamses? I'd recommend putting their full names "The Great Roy Williams" and "The Fake Roy Williams."

How about "DADDY" and "Quitter", respectively ;)

I suppose if it works for you, that's all that really matters.

I honestly don't see the big deal. Williams' stats are remarkably simular in his first 3 seasons (with 9 fewer games played) then are Ownes'. He made a stupid statement that he probably shouldn't have but in the grand scheme, it's not that big a deal. It could be much worse.

For Example, he could be in jail for demanding entrance into a stip club after hours, striking a police officer and generally being an idiot. Bengals WR Reggie McNeal yesterday.

You don't see that with Roy Williams. At least, I'm not aware of any such behavior. JMO I suppose.

This is exactly why it's so ridiculous. Even if they are comparable talent-wise, why would Detroit trade a 24yr old for a 32yr old?

b/c its matt millen. ;)

I would trade T.O. for Roy Williams today, even in the midst of a playoff run. That would be a trade you'd have to be an idiot not to make...it would secure the WR spot at the top for years to come, barring injury.

Nice hypothetical, but there aren't many teams who would trade their young #1 WR for T.O. simply because he's near the end of his career, not even considering all the other reasons.

In that case try an ESV or KJV.;)

Without thinking twice about it. Williams has great talent and is much younger. I think Williams is now entering his prime.

I lost a large amount of brain cells reading this thread, and I need the few I have, now I have a headache.

Thanks Guys. ;)

I use to be in support for TO and all his antics. This team don't need him.

If not Detroit, anywhere.
