I liked the player going into last year. And I still like the player. However, there's a lot of WR competition here, and I don't want to get caught up in the sunken cost fallacy. I get you drafted him for what he could be, but if you have better players right now. Especially if you have better players who are ready to play right now, and you need to trim the roster to 53, would you be willing to pull off a trade before it became apparent he was going to be cut anyway?

I kinda feel like a good place for Tolbert would be the Raiders.
what do you think we could get for him?

Would I give up on a 3rd round pick in year 2 at the 2nd most difficult position to transition from college to pro? No.

No way I’m giving him a shot to be wr 4. He will be better.
I think they knew he’d need time to develop
Any team would know a small school guy would need time and especially time to learn route concepts
Besides you don’t trade a guy when his value is low lol makes no sense
And it’s not like we need the roster spot for someone. We are set at top 3 and he’s likely to be the 4th WR. We have a rookie behind him who if he’s smart will go find fassel day one of camp. I think we carry 6 with Turpin
