Would you want Dak resigned at Discount rate or let him walk/trade?

If we move on from Dak we’ll probably end up with 6-8 wins at best next season. If some of you think shuffling QBs trying to find one and missing the playoffs every year is better than what we’ve experienced the last 3 seasons you’re sadly mistaken.

He did fleece us. Just bc we can cut him post 1 first doesn’t change anything. He has a no trade clause. He also has a no franchise tag clause. We got fleeced. But, there is still a way out.

It depends. If we get Belichick, he might try to squeeze 2 more years out of Dak to avoid a rebuild. If we get Harbaugh, we might blow it all up and rebuild the culture. If we keep McCarthy, that means Jerry is still pulling the strings and we’ll resign Dak until he retires a Cowboy.
No way in hell it gets blown up...and this Eagle failure with just that quick turn following a quick turn around. That team has to rebuild through new coaches and team turmoil as well, now. This is now all on the Head Coach and his 'control.'

It will be insanity if Jerry brings him back for another season. Change the HC, the OC, the DC, receivers, O-Line, running backs, etc. What else do we need for our :"Franchise QB' to succeed?

I know Jerry is going to come out of his lair in a few days and say, "I know we can win a Super bowl with Dak"!

You have to admit, he is persistent.

6-8, 12-5 same result equals, NO POST SEASON SUCCESS!! Better off trying to find the next heir apparent

The team went 5-1 with a very limited practice squad QB Cooper Rush in recent seasons. They would move on just fine thank you.

He is worth $25M/year. I would buy at that price. The money saved would provide some juice to the roster.

Please leave, with his LVs and tatoos.
He was thinking about all the LV products he could buy in the off season for his new child.....no wonder lamb was mad and the offense looked like trash..... Dak kept asking him and the offense which outfits/bags to get in while on the sideline and in the huddle... They probably even had the LV website pulled on the Microsoft tablets.

Did you watch those games? Apparently not! We had a running game with Cooper Rush and a pass rush that was on pace to break the 84 Bears sack record. We were winning games with our defense and kicker. We had little passing game with Rush and we weren’t scoring a lot of points. We won a game with him only passing for 100 yards. We never gave up more than 17 points in any of those wins with him. Once Dak returned we became the highest scoring team in the league. If you think we’ll be better off with an average QB like Cooper Rush, then you don’t have a clue.

Dak will never win a championship. If the goal is to win the Super-Bowl, the team needs to find a QB capable of doing so, even if it means a rough period until it finds one. If Dak stays, I guarantee we'll be in the same spot a year from now.

With the current roster, nope, no rebuild. With Mike McCarthy in place, then Dak Prescott stays...too much money. Focus in application of scheme and Prescott's strengths taken to heart and his talents grown where he is and talents stand now. Add in a new Defensive Coordinator and scheme related player needs on that side.
