This started to naw at me watching this offense slide into the abyss.

Since Romo retired..

DAK has steadily regressed since his rookie year.

DAKOTA played so well with Romo mentoring him..

we have to consider Romo as a coach who might fix the offensive issues.

Now..

Would Tony consider leaving broadcasting to stay closer to his team?

I think yes.

Could he work with Garrett and avoid concerns with Jerrah?

I think yes.

Would Jerrah pay him double what CBS is paying him?

I think yes.

Jerrah would do anything to stop his team from more collapse.

Comments?

Yes!! Absolutely.

Who is Scott Linehan? Mike McCarthy? Sean Payton? Wade Wilson? Jon Gruden? And Reid?

Sanchez was a better quarterback than those jokers.

I didn't say you had to play qb or do it at a high level. I just said if all you've ever done is be a bad QB and make bad decisions with the football you probably aren't going to make a good offensive coach.

Romo makes more away from the field. This isn't happening.

Do you think Joe Montana wanted to come back and mentor Steve Young?
Do you think Brett Favre wanted to come back and mentor Aaron Rodgers?
Do you think Mcnabb wanted to come back and mentor Kolb?
Do you think Brady will come back and mentor Garoppolo?
Do you think Flacco will stick around after retiring to mentor Lamar?

What do you think Romo would be doing right now if you didn't draft Dak, and his backup in 2016 sucked? Think about what Dak did to his career. No, I don't believe he wants to be in Dallas.

We'll maybe next year when Dak's gone he'll come

Omg I just felt movement i haven’t felt in years at the thought of Romo being the OC or HC.

PLEASE GOD MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

Agree 100%.
Heck we gave JG eight years of “the process” I have to think Romo would be better on day 1 than either of our current two clowns. I truly get the impression that JG just has zero idea of how to play football. Playing Madden for a few days would make him a better game manager, something he’s failed to improve in 8 years. Seriously there are 10’year olds who play Madden and understand better how to call plays, manage the clock, and timeouts than JG.

There's a difference in knowing conceptually what you should do and actually being able to do it.

Hence, you have guys like Wade Wilson, Gary Kubiak, Jason Garrett, Kellen Moore, Frank Reich, Jim Harbaugh, etc.

These are guys that didn't make enough money as a star quarterback, so they have to coach.

I think Tony would make a great coach but I also know based his comments he is not ready to take on that type of commitment and the time that is required as a coach. I think there are several former players who would make great coaches but many do not want to do it because they understand what comes with the job and the time you must put in.

Jerry should give him a blank cheque. I don’t think it’s any coincidence that Dak played great when Romo was on the sidelines.

They talked about this misconception the other day on squawking cowboys, it wasn't Romo at all who was mentoring Dak. It was Mark Sanchez. Somehow this revisionist history of Romo being the reason for Dak's 2016 success has become the narrative.
Maybe Dak should have bent the ear of Romo more. Lets be real hear what exactly did Mark bring to the table, what its like to have huge expectations loaded on your shoulders to only fold like a cheap lawn chair.

I'd be running Dak 10x a game and if he gets hurt, call Romo and gauge interest.

'the old band is back' - Romo and Dez.
