Wow, Joe Gibbs' BIG game record. Be afraid, very afraid Dallas fans.

Joe Gibbs has won 4 of 5 NFC championship games, and 3 of 4 Superbowls he has been in. That should be scary. Very scary.

At about 7:30p Eastern time on Sunday, when it's all over, and Dallas' playoff dreams have been extinguished for good, Dallas fans everywhere will have ahead of them something like the football fan's equivalent of a dark night of the soul.

They'll walk around the house muttering, scowling, being rude to the wife and kids, and when the dog comes close by they'll give it a ferocious kick!

Commanders fans meanwhile are full of joy to add to the holiday good cheer. Smiles on their faces, backslapping each other, high fives and shouts of "how about them Commanders" filling the air.

Just make sure you are in here around 7:30pm EST. I am betting you wont be... LMAO

The problem with your argument is your definition of a "big game." Gibbs has also... lost in the 1984 divisional playoffs to Chicago, didn't even qualify in 1985 (swept by the Boys might I add...) In 1986 they received a huge beatdown 3 times by the New York Giants (care to venture who the coach of the Giants was in that game?)
In 1988,in a big game, the Commanders fell to eventual AFC champ Cincinnati, knocking them from playoff contention. In 1989, again failed to qualify. Lost again, 1990 to San Francisco. Repeat in 1992.

These games the Commanders lost weren't big games?

Nothing like good old facts to bust open that can of "Gibbs Pork n' Beans" LMAO

The fact that Neddles considers this a "big game" on par with NFC Championship games and Super Bowls says a lot about how he loves to grasp... Is it an important game? Yes... but lose and go home? No. Now go back to ES and get your fanny patted for coming over here and trying to prove a point.

Was any of that accomplished in this century, troll??

Nope, that can't be, Gibbs hasn't been in the playoffs in this century... which just goes to show you, it's generally not the coach, it's the players he has that determine wins and losses...

Oh, is that how YOU reacted to all those losses these last few years?? Speaking from the voice of experience, are you??

ROFL!!!!

What 'century', SB?

Gibbs hasn't sniffed a playoff game in this millenium.

I wish NedK, and all Skins fans for that matter, and Gibbs would get ipecac drinking, monumental vomit spells and puke themselves to death. But not until after getting a horrible case of diarrhea and the piles.

But will he get groupies like Art gets? :laugh2:

Don't forget guys, even if the Commanders lose, they will still have Art to "Protect their house" :lmao2:

Who cares. Hair bands were big in the 80's, too. Funny though how today they're both viewed as jokes and need to go back from that where they came from.
