WOW! No one making posts on draft stuff?

I was looking in this draft section, going down the list to see what someone else may have posted about the draft, and on first page, all i saw was items posted by little old me.

so wow, i sure would have thought some others would have posted some stuff about the draft besides myself.

i know im dreaming, but if we can get Solder, OT from colorado, i would be drooling!

and what i think we need to do is this;
with us possibly going to the superbowl, our team will be built for 4 years or so, and not much room for players

so we possibly need to make a trade or 2, say someone like crayton, if he is here next year, along with another player or so; hopefully someone will sign flozell, and like ravens signed ken hamlin, and we can get a 3rd and 4th compensation picks, with trade picks too, then we can trade our 3rd, 4th rounders etc... and move up in draft to get impact players like we did for dez, lee and ansah;

move up in the draft like we did for dez bryant, sean lee, and ansah, and get some good quality type players

with super young talent, like we did in mid 70's when we made trades, and got ed jones, randy white and tony dorsett, or in 90s, with h walker trade and others like steve walsh, etc, and got erik williams, darren woodson, russell maryland, etc...

keep our team being built with young super play makers,

and that should keep us in contention for 7 to 10 years like we did in landrys years from 70's to 80's

I agree cowboyjoe. Solder looks great. As big as he is , he still could put on 30 to 40 lbs. Marcus Cannon (TCU) and Carl Johnson (Florida) and Lee Ziemba (Auburn) are a few that I am watching this year.

The Skinny: This senior is already one of the most pro-ready prospects in the 2011 draft class. Wisniewski is blessed with excellent physical skills for an interior lineman, possessing quick feet, good burst out of his stance, wide shoulders, great knee bend, and an excellent upper body strength. The Penn State product is extremely adept at pulling and reaching the second level due to his nimble feet and once he gets his hands on defensive linemen, he finishes his blocks with aplomb. Where Wisniewski really shines though is in the mental aspects of the game, which have allowed him to be a first team All-Big Ten performer as both a center and a guard for the Nittany Lions. There is very little lacking in terms of technique as the Penn State product’s refinement in this department is beyond his years. Standing at 6’3” Wisniewski has more than enough length to line up on Sundays at either center of guard. However, the fact that he tips the scales at merely 297 pounds could limit him to the center position and make him useful in only certain pro schemes. He may be a master technician, but when he faces 340-pound nose tackles in the NFL his current frame simply won’t be enough to handle the situation one on one. It is indisputable that Wisniewski needs to add weight to his frame, especially in his lower body, if he is going to make it big in the league where they play for pay. It appears he is headed back to the guard position as a senior after starting at center in 2009 but things could change depending on how the other PSU linemen perform.

I agree. I'd prefer to see the players play most of this year before speculating. I recall many of last summer's top future picks not even going in the 1st 3-4 rounds.

Yeah you`re right. It will be midseason before you can get a true ideal how a player will rate out. Every year seems like the combine will change all of that. This supposed to be a very good year for o-line prospectsand considering the Cowboy`s needs, I want to keep up with as many as possible. Thanks again joe for keeping the info coming.

boy I hope so I am so tired of Gurode - throwing the ball making Romo jump for it - am lets get a smart guy who can actually call the blocking scheme

I see us drafting a backup C to be groomed as a starter vs using a high pick as a day one starter. Round 3-5.

Marcus Cannon in 2-3 to replace Davis at RG in a year or two.
