Jerry & Stephen + the cast know what they are doing & when it all comes down to it they will get the guy they think will help them the best at FS... Just relax and have some faith, this is a very long offseason.. I know you are bored out of your mind & are sad to see the Cowboys aren't making any news, but this is a very talented team with not many holes, FS-DE I'll give you. I am pretty confident we will feel those needs in the next month, or in the draft along with adding depth to the o-line. RELAX!!!

Agreed. It is a good thing the front office does not listen to us fans. As much as we "think" we know what is best for the team, the front office, scouts, and coaches know more than we will ever know.

You act like this is something new to the Zone. This happens every offseason if we dont burst out the gates signing up everyone in sight.

I must've missed this desperation you speak of.

Its there, I've seen several posts with the usual "Jerry is blowing it!!!!"..."We're doing nothing to improve!!!"

I know right, I have only seen two people freaking out about safety.

Other than that the playoff win has really calmed everything down. its nice.

Alot of questions have been answered and its like people now understand we just have to sit and wait for it to start again.

No one wins anything in march, in fact alot of people end up losing because of the things they do in march.

There is no need for Dallas to be involved in any of the players who have been signed.

The one guy I would look hard at is otogwe but I cant imagine he gets away from the rams or doesnt go to washington for a payday with haslett.

but we are doing things the right away, if jammal williams happens to fall in our lap for peanuts like brooking and is willing to play a role that is great.....if he doesnt its not a big deal.

Its a great spot to be in.

my main concern is the draft this year. i want either a franchise safety, left tackle or middle linebacker this year. left tackle first. peppers is a great player but we already have someone better with ware. now safety would be great but the two guys that are left are good players but i think the texas kid and mays from usc can play just as well as those two guys will and they will be a whole lot cheaper to sign.

 I say if teams are willing to go ahead and cough lots of $$ for FA then by all means go ahead. That just means that the draft will get better and better for teams that chose not to splurge on FAs.

When a player like Boldin goes for a 3rd and 4th and we don't even make an attempt, yeah it's rough. It's a loooong offseason. These couple days are all we have to look forward to till the draft and who knows if that's going to knock our socks off as much as Jerry and Co. is suggesting.

Not really that impressed with the UFA class. Also, I thought we couldn't really sign anyone anyway because we finished in the top 8? We can go after cut players, but not really any UFAs......

They must have a lot of faith in Otree. That and Boldin isn't a young guy. And is injured a lot. And it's a deep draft so picks are at a premium this year.

Rick gosselin said tuesday that just after the combine, without the pro days he already has 51 draftable wr on his board.

No need to over pay and give up a draft pick for a wr. I hope we draft one though...we need another player at that spot.
