agreed with everything till this point...If the guy was not the right guy in your mind then what has he done to make him the right guy now?

He drafted Canty, he drafted Spears, he drafted Ware, he drafted Julius (who will be ok in the long run), he brought in A. Henry who was playing lights out before he got hurt, he brought in Rivera which looked like a good idea at the time until he messed his back up only days later. He brought in A. GLenn. He brought in Fujita for depth and it is a damn good thing he did.

So.........he's done some good things for this team.

if injuries was an excuse than Campo should still be coaching...that guy had more bad luck with injuries than any coach I have ever seen

and I'll give you an "On the nosey" for this. :)

In fact, if you recall, Campo was pulling guys off the street, literally, and starting them on the offensive line during his last season.

And I'll bet that team had better rushing stats...and comparable stats at protecting the QB's than this one....with the likes of, Char-Ron Dorsey; Aaron Gibson; Marques McFadden; Ross Tucker; Jeremy McKinney.

Disgraceful.

I'm not sold on this draft yet. Can we wait a couple of seasons? Based on what we've seen for the past month, I wouldn't be citing this draft as a success...we're still not getting an pressure on the QB...and we're getting manhandled at the LOS in run defense with Canty, Spears and Ware starting.

Henry, great pick up.

Rivera, you and I both were jumping up and down about taking the wrong guy from Green Bay...Wahle was the guy, not Rivera.

Wahle was the guy over Rivera but at least he addressed the issue. Messing your back up at any age isn't good, but at Riveras' age........not good. That is not Parcells fault.

I disagree with your assessment on Canty, Spears and Ware.

Ware leads the team in QB pressures and tackles for loss. What more can you realistically expect from a rookie playing a different postion than he played in a small college?

Spears and Canty are both playing well also. I guess I disagree with you there as well.

Now.......not starting Ellis and Glover.......that is another story.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...What about switching to the 3/4 and not having the personnel or the coach to do so?

Zimmer could not be innovative if his life depended on it

Sarge, how can you mention three of the front seven as playing well after watching team after team blow us up at the LOS for the past month or so?

And in that same period of time, in the past 6 weeks, this team has a grand total of 8 sacks.

I'm not sold on the rookies yet...or maybe the coaching of them...or the 3-4

I'm speaking in overall terms as far as the rookies go, not yesterday's game.

Spears and Canty aren't even in their necessarily to generate sacks and if people are going to continuously rate these rookies based on sack numbers then, no, they aren't playing well.

It isn't just about sack numbers though and frankly, until now, I haven't seen where anyone was complaining about the play of Canty or Spears. In fact, it has been the other way around.

Some have issues with Ware because of his sack numbers. It's much bigger than that, as I've said.

I really don't know what people expect of Ware. Like I said, he leads the team in QB pressures and tackles for loss, as a rookie. What more can you ask from a rookie?

I don't get it. The kid is playing well, actually all three are IMO/FWIW.

In the grand scheme of things, it probably would be wise to wait 3 years or so to grade out that draft, but as rookies...I have no problem with their play thus far whatsoever.

Sunnyside up?
