They are awful, they suck, why haven't they...........

guys, do the people who spew this stuff have ANY idea how hard it is to be successful in the NFL? It takes time to adjust to the league.

I can't wait for these guys to get on the field and prove you nah sayers wrong.

I love my team and I'm optimistic that we will have a great season. Will we lead the league in every category and have the best QB, RB, OLB, etc in the league? I'm sure we won't be the best at everything. But I am confident that the boys will battle and give it one heck of a shot at getting to the Super Bowl!

I'm not trying to be negative on Spencer and have not called him a bust but yes I have been disappointed in his play thus far and hope to see him have a breakout year. Hell I'm pulling for Carpenter to finally step up and show something and while I pull for all of our players I also expect our players to step up and show something.

The board was completely ******** during the offseason, but I've been surprised how chipper even the usual nay-sayers have been since training camp has started up again. You can sort of tell that people are remembering again that the team's got a lot of talent. Reports from training camp are always positive, but there does seem to be a lot of hopeful noise coming from the press re: our focus and chemistry this first week or so.

And these guys have been with the Cowboys how long? Sure they deserve some of the blame but no where near the lions share.

32 teams...so 1 SB win every 32 years would be average. No playoff wins in a while, we know...but competitive almost every year. IMO there are reasons to be excited about the upcoming season and the negativity seems just sad.

Has this team been competitive? Yes. It is talented? Yes. For fans, that's all you need to ask to be optimistic.

If you are so butt-hurt by not being a dynasty any more, then please keep it to yourself.

And on behalf of the franchise, I apologize to you that you are so embarassed by your fan card.

As for me, this is my team and my hometown. Dallas. Where I was born and raised, and where I will raise my children. Cheering for this team. I am grateful for the run they gave me in the Jimmy days. And I stood by them through the lean years with Campo as they struggled to rebuild. And I am cheering for them now as they have developed a strong team that is one the threshold of breaking through into Super Bowl land again. This team has given me more joy in return than any one fan deserves. I'm not about to be pissed off at it and whining because it has not given me any more.

We were also a penalty machine last pre-season and maintained that throughout the year coming in second on the list of penalized teams.

Some of us expressed this in pre-season last year and were told it doesn't matter, they'll correct this.

The question I have is this Catch.

If I am a fat middle-aged man who can see the penalties were something that could cause trouble on the horizon of a new year, why couldn't Wade and he do something twelve months ago to correct it instead of letting it fester?

He is the head coach and he couldn't sit in a meeting with his coaches and think maybe they need to begin instituting the rules they are practicing by today last season?

Everything means something. Good or bad.

You play like you practice.

Practice like crap then your head coach needs to take immediate action. Not wait a year and have a bear claw.
