And I'll betcha he's catching balls somewhere else next year.

Dallas has to sign Dak just to be able to franchise tag Cooper next year. That's looking iffy. Both of them want top dollar, which I bet they don't give both. They see Gallup as a No. 1 type.

He has to chill on the drops. He’s had his seasons worth through 5 games.

Overall I love his game. He must cut down on drops. That drop Sunday changed the game. Yeah it was very slightly behind him. A pro must make that catch and score.

There is no way they gave up a first not to have him long term. Stop being so pessimistic lol

I would make more of an argument for Terrell Owens. Dez had a habit of disappearing in big moments. Also had poor field awareness and wasn't a strong route runner.
Dez from 2012-2014 player at a much higher level than TO in his 3 seasons

And cut this “route running” nonsense.

Too still put up the numbers he did while being a suspect route runner is astonishing.

:hammer:

Arguably the biggest turning point of the entire game. And I can see why people question his attitude and body language too. After that play, he looked to go to the sidelines to mope. All credit for rebounding and having the day that he did, but clearly too little, too late.

Prime years

92 catches 1382 yards 12 TDs
93 catches 1233 yards 13 TDs
88 catches 1320 yards 16 TDs

and a 1st team All-Pro selection to boot.

Get back to me once Cooper puts up these numbers over a full season, and I dont mean one time either.

When has Dez ever had 200 yards receiving against a top tier corner like Alexander? Dez is more physical and is bigger then Cooper. I never this kind speed or route running ability from Dez. Cooper is also 25 and his prime years are ahead of him. Interesting comparison. I am interested to hear what Mr. Romo says Sunday.

Cooper has a history of drops and ghosting. Dez had 8 drops in 2017 and this board got out the torches and pitchforks - Cooper will most likely equal that number in 3-4 more games.

What’s the bet? how about posting privileges on this site. If he is a cowboy next you can never post again, if he isn’t then I’ll never post again.

I don't think Dallas has a number 1.
They have 2s and 3s.

Gallup is more of a #1, Cooper is more of a #2, Cobb is a great slot receiver. Only thing we're missing is that field-stretching TE, might be Jar-WIN eventually.
