Roy Cummings, of the Tampa Tribune, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released WR David Boston. There is speculation he may be re-signed down the road.

The Bucs took a chance on Boston, and a lot of the fans were surprised he was named to the 53 man squad, as he really didn't perform in pre-season games. His time has passed him. I'd rather have Rector, Hurd, and Austin.
