They rotated WRs like Rod rotates D-linemen. No way Dak can get comfortable with all those guys. I don’t mind some rotation guys need breaks but dang that was crazy today. Pick two starters on the outside to go with Beasley and roll with it. Seemed like every play they brought in a different combo of WRs. QBs and WRs need chemistry no way that will happen with this mess.

That's the whole "just spread it around" philosophy that everyone was convinced would offset the loss of all the playmakers in the passing game.

You don't need a 1000 yard receiver if you can get your hands on ten 100 yard receivers.

Yeah they need to just go Gallup, Beasley, Hurns and Austin. Just go with a core 4 and go with those guys. If you want to throw in Thompson or T-Will at times fine but I don't know if this is going to work out like they think it will.

I’d have to agree. Felt like I was watching a preseason game. Every time you turn your head it’s a different set of nameless WRs out there.

because we don't have a #1 or #2....we have a bunch of #3 WRs.....

No one should be surprised, I said on draft day it was a fail. No #1, you will not get away with it in this league. No one is scared of this bunch

People were dying to trade a second rounder for a safety. I'd rather trade one for a pass catcher defenses actually respect.

They also rotated LBs. All of these played at least full series:
Lee
Jaylon
Wilson
Vander Esch
Thomas
March-Lillard

It is game 1 and in the preseason they didn't play the starters very much.

It's good to have a plan to avoid injuries and too keep players fresh.

Early season injuries can doom a team. A single lost game will not doom a team.

The WR merry go round sucked. JUst go with Hurns, Gallup and Beasley. Occasionally spell them with the other guys. I get rotating guys on the DL...it is the most physical part of the game. I don't think rotating other positions is very effective.

Rotating LBs is different than WRs the LBs don’t have to have chemistry with another guy to make plays. Most of these WRs played a good bit in the preseason they should be in shape. Which one of these WRs if they went down would you declare the season doomed? Ain’t none of them that valuable. They all seem about the same to me pick the two that have the best chemistry with Dak.

But, but Brady doesn't have a number 1 receiver!

I read that here....
but that's brady, highly accurate, great arm and can read a defense and thread a needle. Dak is not accurate and has trouble reading a defense, he needs good WRs to bail him out. he doesn't make the WRs like brady, WRs make him

at this pace they may need fifteen 65 yard receivers...

Which sucks because he can barely get it to the same quadrant of the field that his WR is in...
