You're right, I shouldn't. To me this forum is about the Cowboys and that's all I should care about. I just get tired of the whining.adamknite;2075453 said:You shouldn't let them stop you.

They couldn't no matter how hard they try. I love this team, that's why I am here.adamknite;2075487 said:Exactly. I love talking about the Cowboys, and I love having discussions with Cowboy fans, I just enjoy talking about football period. Don't let the few "bad apples" ruin it for you.
Hostile;2075430 said:Part of me agrees with you. I don't think Roy is a top 10 WR either, but he's not far from it and without losing 4 games to injury at the end of the year his stats would fit in with some of them above.
Shaun McDonald was behind him in production when he went down to injury. Just food for thought.

It's over?stasheroo;2075498 said:So Hos, now that this Roy Williams thing is over for the time being, any chance you''ll jump onboard the "Matt Jones to Dallas" bandwagon?

I think the deal could be revived before the trading deadline. I still think Detroit would be foolish not to move him.stasheroo;2075674 said:I thought 'for now' anyway.
I don't see any of the big name receivers going anywhere in 2008. In my opinion, if they were going to be moved, they would have been.
I've moved on to my latest grassroots campaign.
I'm 2 for 2 so far:
First was Owens
Second was everyone's favorite Pacman Jones
and Matt Jones is the third
Sure it's not the flashy name that everyone hoped for, but it's better than nothin'!

Perhaps Millen never sought draft picks but instead wanted a Vetern pass rusher or CB? Maybe they wanted a young veteran WR back in the deal. Jerry would be better served to wait until after June 1 to trade any veteran on the team and he knows this. He sure didn't seem to think all the doors were closed to acquiring a veteran WR this summer. Like it or not, the only WR that the team admits to interest in is RW.stasheroo;2075697 said:Wouldn't be the first 'foolish move' Matt Millen has made.
But I don't know how he could possibly justify it as anything more than giving up on this season and planning for the future.
No team wants to send that message - even if it's true.
You always want your fans believing that their team can win.
Given baseball's late trade deadline, I think that teams can get away with it, not so much in football.
I think there's a better chance they franchise him for 2009 than there is of them moving him.
Obviously not what I want to see happen, but what I think ends up happening.
