We gave up a lot for this guy which I loved the trade at first. It was never brought to most fans attention about this injury though. I mean he was doing good in Detroit.. I think he had more yards with just playing half the games there than he did with us.

plantar fasciitis, same as Newman had last year that kept him out for a large part of the season

Bingo. That's not a very fun injury to have. I'd like to see a RW11 with a full off season under his belt and two healthy feet next year. I think we'll see vast improvement.

Too much happened this season to be able to make any kind of realistic evaluation. I happen to think that the price was about right considering the situation so I have no gripe there. Getting him has been something a lot of us wanted for the last year or so. So no gripe there either. I am content to wait until after training camp next season into the season before I start to come to any conclusion about his worth on this team.
